Excellent N300 alternative for D-Link 2750 series. Supports BSNL and Airtel BB out of the box.
Excellent ADSL2+ router with 4 ethernet ports for home networking. Pros - Supports more than 6 devices simultaneously - can stream HD youtube videos effortlessly to 2 or 3 devices simultaneously - Pretty easy to setup with most India based ISPs (Bsnl, Airtel etc). Pre-built configurations are available to choose Indian ISP settings. - Uses Broadcom chipset. Stable and zero-drop issues. Pretty cool. - Has a USB port to connect your Storage devices or 3G usb sticks - Shares the firmware UI with D-Link D2750U. So if you are migrating from Dlink to Tenda TE-D303, you will feel at home. - No heating issues. - Good and strong WiFi signal for 20-30 feet radius. Can penetrate two walls. - My earlier Dlink 2750 frequently dropped the connection. But this modem, stays up well. Cons - The lights are tiny, and you need to be near the router to figure out which light is on and off. Neutral - Dlink and Tenda use the same OE firmware, and hence the user interface is same. People migrating from Dlink to Tenda or vice versa will feel at home. Conclusion Excellent N300 Wifi ADSL router for who prefer stable connections, and heavy surfing. Though priced a bit higher than Dlink 2750, this device beats 2750U by a greater margin in terms of ease-of-setup, signal strength and zero-connection drop.

Good router with all the features at reasonable price
Bought this router on amazon prime day sell @very competitive price. This router have all the features at a very reasonable price. Inside the box: Router, Power Adopter, One Parallel Lan RJ45 Cable, Two RJ11 Cables, Line to phone/Modem spliter, One dvd containing usern guides. Pros: 1) It can be used with both telecom broadband & cable broadband. I'm using this with Alliance broadband. To do that insert ther45 lan cable to LAN1 slot. At the home page change link type to "PHONE CABLE" to "ETHERNET CABLE", & if you're using STATIC IP like me select "IPoE" afterwards. 2)You can use 3g usb dongle with this device. I've tested with MICROMAX MMX353G & it works like a charm. 3)You can use storage devices like USB Flash Drive or External Hardrive. My 1TB WD Elements works(all 4 partitions) after a little bit of tweaking. Make sure the partition table are in MBR(not in GPT) & all partitions are "LOGICAL"(not Primary). Also make sure you're using a good quality & short lenth data cable for connecting the drive with the router. NO EXTERNAL POWER REQUIRED. To access the shared folder on PC, open the file explorer & type "\\192.168.1.1" without quotes. Default un & pw are "samba". On android use ES FILE MANAGER., You can also share printer but I haven't tested it. 4)The range is also good & the router doesn't heat up that much. Cons: 1) Can't find any Mac Clone option while setting up Static IP over ethernet. 2) Too many options in the settings menu can make you confused. Setting up the router is a little bit complicated. 3) Slow initialization & Reboot process.

Mostly a good router but with a major flaw.
Range is quite good on this router, better than competitors. Just use 20 MHz if you need more range and 40 Mhz if you need higher speeds (above 65 Mbps). For normal Broadband connections 20 Mhz will give best range. Also try different channels, above channel 6 is always better. Been using this modem for eight months now, no complaints with range. Doesn't get too hot but I've added a small computer fan as exhaust as I had a spare 12v DC adapter lying idle. You can also modify a USB cable and use the USB port on the modem to power a small 5v fan. The major problem with this router I found that when using DSL line as input, the upload speeds are synced at a relatively low rate. For example using an ISP provided modem with this, I can get 800 to 900 Kbps upload speeds, but when using DSL directly, I am getting 500 to 600 Kbps only and that keeps going down with time until you restart. Replacement piece had the same issue. And when uploading starts, the latency increases from 20 ms to 4000 ms and then you cannot use your connection until uploading finishes as the line gets saturated. Hope they can fix this issue with a firmware update.

Good Product. No Service Centers. No Support. Buy if you are OK with this and know how to help yourself.
Pros: Preconfigured Settings available for BSNL and other major providers in the router itself. So easy to setup and configure. Can work as Modem+Router or WiFi Router alone. USB port can be used for file sharing or shared printer Good Performance. Fairly helpful website. Cons: No Service Centers. No Support. No Call Center. Just No Help! There is no support network for this company in India as of now. It is dumped into India from China by a Distributor called "Fortune Marketing Pvt Ltd" and sold mostly through online channels since Sales and Service setup is not available. If you need, you have to call a international number for technical support from China. But I would like to reiterate that it is a good product only. You can buy if you can set it up yourself using the manual and easy to follow directions on the website and some commonsense! But if it fails within the warranty period, or needs any service anytime...you are out of luck! Hence the 3* rating.

Stay Away, its a trap.
Premise: I am an Information Tech. Engineer and have worked with routers for over a decade. I am on MTNL ADSL connection. And I am writing this review after using this device with Latest TENDA firmware. Review The router has good range and signal strength, the only problem with this router is that it does not work. CONS: 1. The router automatically disconnects internet when under load, mostly the router disconnects abruptly if I am running speedtest.net or sometimes during casual browsing itself, it then connects automatically in 10 minutes, But this is extremely annoying.. Why it does that, my guess is that it heats up and disconnects to cool down. Never seen a router do this before, you cannot expect continuous connectivity of more then 30 min on this thing. 2.The USB slot can be difficult to use if the USB drive has square/plane edge as the router's top ridge protrudes out and stops the USB drive from going in completely. Hats of to the designer. This wasn't a problem with my USB though. 3. The Router control panel is very primitive and lacks features. I have still not able to assign static IPs with this router. PRO: This is a great gift for someone you hate. These early faults show that the router will not last long and literally zero support in India makes me pit for those who bought this piece of electronics which calls itself a router. This is the worst router I have come across, except range there is nothing going for this thing, might as well be a scam.

Decent All in One Router which likely will fit in everyone's budget!
As described a good product from Tenda which comes with a 3 year warranty. Those who are unsure about its warranty or service centers, don't worry! At least those who stay in Mumbai shouldn't because it has a major service center located at Lamington Road. But yeah, the helpline no's provided are not responsive at times. PROS: 1) Budget friendly 2) Easy to setup 3) Good for ADSL connections (MTNL,BSNL). CONS: 1) Tends to heat more than normal 2) WiFi Range maybe an issue for many if number of walls are more in between 3) ADSL, Ethernet Cable provided in the box are too short. I returned it because the WiFi range of my old router was same as of this router. Know More: [...]

Full product Guide , and Features list !
First thing you should do is to update the firm-ware . Function 1 - Conventional DSL modem works with BSNL BB ( Giving full speeds) . Function 2 - 300Mbps 5DBi two antenna's not detachable but movable wifi router better than TP Link - MR 3220 or Old Teracom Modem provided by BSNL which I have . Antenna's in these router seem's to work very fine, Just move the antenna to the direction where signal is less and it will boost signal in that area. Function 3 - 3G/EVDO Datacard support ( Supports ZTE AC 2766 and Sierra 595U ) ( Not supports D-Link DWP 157 , ZOOK 3.85GS) - Tested by me . For EVDO DATACARDS connection isn't automatic , Go to 192.168.1.1 then in link type use 3g as primary then in secondary setup use country as other then ISP as other then APN blank then Username and password as your mobile no. and dial no as #777. For 3G DATACARDS automatic connection works but in case it doesn't work , Go to 192.168.1.1 then in link type 3G as primary then in seconadary setup use Country as India then ISP from drop down and its done . Function 4 - Share HDD / USB Sharing available ( I connected 1TB HDD and it working fine wirelessly - speed varies from 3MBPS-4.5MBPS). For sharing HDD/Pendrive via mobile use ES file explorer app ( In app go to lan then set IP as 192.168.1.1 and username/password as samba ). You could share multiple HDD's and Pendrive via it using a good usb hub but only condition is that 3G or EVDO Datacard should be disconnected if you are availing sharing service. Process for newbie : Step 1 A : Go to 192.168.1.1 from browser then ADVANCED then ADVANCED SETUP then storage services then check enable samba . Step 1 B : Go to My Computer ( In windows 7 ) or This PC ( in windows 8/8.1) then In address bar type exactly \\192.168.1.1 then if asked for password and user name enter samba as password and username then you are done . For Mobile : Go to ES file manager then Settings/options then slide down till you find Networks and In networks you will find LAN , In Lan press Plus symbol button then enter SERVER as 192.168.1.1 and username and password as samba then click OK .( Cheers !) Function 5 - Print server , Works fine but not very reliable and also Datacard should be disconnected in order to avail print server facility . In my case print server was working with mine HP 1050 J5410 printer but after few hours it stopped working , But that wasn't the primary purpose for me to purchase these item so I let it go . Process for Newbies to add your printer wirelessly : Step 1 A : Go to 192.168.1.1 from your browser then username and password as admin then ADVANCED then ADVANCED SETUP then Print server then Check the box of enable print server then put your printer name or anything you wish in printer name and model no and save it . Step 1 B: Open control panel then go to devices and printers Step 2 : Below menu-bar their will be option to Add a printer just click that . Step 3 : If your are in windows 7 , select option 2 that is mine printer is wireless then it would search your printer . If you are in windows 8.1 /8 then you willn't be asked anything . Step 4 : Your printer will be visible ( Remember the Printer name which you gave earlier ) then just do next - next (If it ask for driver just check the box that add drivers automatically or just insert the driver DISC of printer and just browse for it ) Step 5 : It will print TEST page and you are done ( Cheers , if you reached till here). And many more features available which will take a lot of time so Bye Bye for now !

Terrifyingly good
Wasn't expecting much on this ADSL+ Modem and Router device that supports USB dongle. I thought it was trying to win battles at too many front. Also procured one more ethernet wifi router, just to be on the safe side to cover my entire duplex. Tenda performed far better (at least by better coverage and stability), so much so that it just blew my mind. Just to be fair, the other router has dual band (2.4G and 5G) so RF antennae (3x3) must've been overloaded unlike single band in Tenda with 2x2 array. WiFi settings can be fairly modified, at least covering the essentials. Setup was straight forward without any hassle.
