** 3 Year Update 2021 **
Nov 2018 - Original Purchase Date: Bought pack of 3 in grey. Bought the 6.5 to 8.5 mens even though my size is 9.5. Wanted a snug fit and they fit great with no excess. 1 pair after washing weighs 53g/1.8 oz/ Backpacked 3 full days in the mountains and some rain. No issues at all. Good cushion on foot bottoms, heel, and the top of foot. Feet breathed adequately with the nylon stocking-like ventilation areas where padding is not needed. I can't speak for drying time in the field because it was wet and overcast the whole time but they would dry fine in the sun or dry air. They hold up well ** 3 Year Update 2021 ** These Danish Endurance socks have suffered several hundred miles and many laundry/dryer cycles in the last 3 years and they are holding up very well. The Merino wool is now clearly looking like well worn wool should look. On ~10 to 12 occassions I have worn the same pair for 5 days straight, backpacking 40 to 60 miles in the wet and humid Appalachian & Smoky Mountains and they continue to perform better than I had expected. Quick Dry? Yes, on low humidity days just like anything else. Hanging overnight on a humid night allows them to dry somewhat. Re-wearing the next day is actually not a bad experience at all. These socks don't stink just as Merino wool is advertised. Comfort? I buy smaller sized socks to ensure they don't bunch up in my shoes/boots and that makes them comfortable for me. My feet never get hot in the summer with these. Holes? None in 3 years. If you get holes near your toe nails... trim your toe nails. If you get holes on the pads/heels of your feet... stop walking around the house with them. The elastic around the lower calf has not worn out at all. Smartwool, etc.? Yep, those are great socks. I have a bunch, but I don't hike with them in the warm season. I wear these. These are higher quality than expected socks for a fair price. If you find bad reviews for these socks, oh well. I just bought another pack of these so I have more when my 3 year old socks decide to quit.

Comforable and great for hiking
I recently had the pleasure of trying out the Merino Wool Life Socks during my summer hiking adventures, and I must say, these socks exceeded my expectations in every way possible. They are hands down the most comfortable and odor-resistant socks I have ever worn! First and foremost, the comfort level of these socks is truly remarkable. The moment I slipped them on, I could feel the softness and cushioning that the merino wool provides. It's like walking on clouds! The socks have a perfect balance of thickness, offering ample support and protection while still allowing my feet to breathe during those long hikes. No more blisters or discomfort for me! What impressed me the most, however, was the socks' ability to keep odors at bay, even during intense summer hikes. Thanks to the natural antimicrobial properties of merino wool, I no longer have to worry about offensive odors or sweaty feet ruining my outdoor experience. These socks effectively wick away moisture and keep my feet dry, fresh, and odor-free throughout the entire day. It's a game-changer! Additionally, the durability of these socks is worth mentioning. I've used them extensively, putting them through rigorous hikes and washing cycles, and they have held up remarkably well. The quality construction and materials used are evident, and I have no doubt that these socks will accompany me on many more adventures to come. The attention to detail in the design is also commendable. The socks feature a snug fit without feeling too tight, ensuring they stay in place without slipping or bunching up. The reinforced toe and heel areas provide extra durability, while the seamless construction minimizes any potential irritation or friction against the skin. These little touches make a big difference when it comes to overall comfort. In conclusion, if you're in need of high-quality socks for your summer hiking adventures, look no further than the Merino Wool Life Socks. With their unparalleled comfort, superior odor resistance, and excellent durability, they have quickly become an essential part of my outdoor gear. Treat your feet to the luxury they deserve and enjoy hiking without a worry in the world. Highly recommended!

comfortable well made and easy to care for.
Excellent socks, comfortable, and long lasting. I'm a fan of this brand. This particular model is thinner than others bought in the past, but the quality and comfort is still there. They hold their shape after normal machine washing & drying.

great all-season socks
Got these for all the seasons - cooling the feet in summer & keeping them warm in the winter. PROS: - Do what they are supposed to do - good insulation to keep feet at ideal temps - Great padding for hiking! Super comfy! - Nice fit - as expected. - Wash well. No fading/stretching/falling apart. CONS: - Not really a con...but I wish these had the option to come in a above-the-calf length to be even more useful hiking in brush.

Best socks I’ve ever put in my feet!
Best socks I’ve ever worn. I bought them for some summer hiking around Maine and New Hampshire. I was able to get these same day from Amazon to save the trip (I had ordered others that were cheap and very thick) and was pleasantly surprised at how nice they were. I didn’t even have time to wash them, just threw them in my bag and hopped on my plane. I wore one pair around on a day of mild walking to test them out and was pleasantly surprised at how great they were. The next day was our first hike and I loved them. Kept my feet dry and comfortable all day. Later on the trip we did a waterfall hike on a rainy day, so the fear of blisters was on my mind but they held up and my feet felt great all day. Seriously the best socks I’ve ever put on my feet. I’ll definitely buy more, soon!

Good socks
Nice fit and finish. Looks dressy enough for work. Comfortably soft fabric, little thick though. Holding up nicely to use and washing.

By the way, noch Mal an dieser Stelle vielen Dank an den super Kundenservice. Super Trekking Socken.

Wore these for the first time with my hiking shoes. These are very comfortable, and seem to have additional thickness in the weave design. They are airy yet have support in all the necessary areas. Not as dense as traditional hiking socks but fit the bill admirably.
