Admiral Locks Tubular Cam Lock, Keyed Alike Removable Key RV Compartment Storage Lock Cabinet Locks (Chrome Pack of 1, 5/8" 90°)

This company is the best, I ordered 4 90 degree and 1 180 degree lock and key combo for my Us General cart and tool boxes and they all came with the same key code and I didn't even ask them! They fit perfectly and function well I only had to modify one Arm to fit my cart cause it was square cut originally.

I purchased six of the 5/8" locks after measuring the locks I wanted to replace. Went to replace and found that I needed the 1" barrel. The six were returned and the new ones ordered. Everything has gone smoothly (except for the wrong size initially). I was happy with the construction of the locks and believe they will serve my needs for many years to come.

The lock was exactly as described and was easy to install as a replacement to lock where the original key had been lost.

I usually don't write reviews, but due to my experience with these locks and this vendor, I had to make an exception. About a year ago I bought a new set of US General tool boxes. There were 8 locks in total and each lock used a different key. I wanted to key all of these boxes alike, but wasn't sure where to start. I found a forum on line that led me to a Youtube video that recommended this seller and these locks. I wrote the seller and explained what I wanted. He told me to place my order and then email him and he would make sure that they were all keyed alike. Well, guess what? I got exactly what I ordered. I was and still am very happy with my choice of seller and product. The locks are well made, are easy to install, and look great. The quality is A+. 1 year later I bought a tool cart with drawers and a top and it had 1 lock. I wrote this seller again, and told him what I wanted to do. He again told me to place my order and then email him and he would make sure that these locks would be keyed the same as the first set. Again, I got exactly what I ordered. Now I'm super happy. It is refreshing to find a seller that has the honesty and integrity to go the extra mile for his customers. Needless to say, if I need more locks, this is where I will buy them.

I have a Harbor Freight US General toolbox that the lock somehow got jammed in a position between locked and unlocked and you could not put the key in to turn it because the slots wouldn't align. I ordered a replacement lock only to find out it wouldn't work because the two slots were positioned at 90°, my box needed a lock that would turn 180° to unlock. I found one that worked but it only had 1 slot so you couldn't remove the key unless it was in the locked position. This lock did the trick, 2 slots at 180° allowing the key to be removed when the box is in either the locked or unlocked positions. Installing it was fairly easy once I got the rod to line up just right. The only issue I had was tightening the locknut, my old lock was held in place with a spring clip, this one has a nut that is hard to turn when the rod is in place because you can't use a socket. You could tighten it with a socket before connecting the rod, but when you do that, you cant get the rod to go through the hole without having some wiggle room. There's also not much room for a wrench to turn the nut. I got it hand tight then used a punch and hammer to turn it until it was snug.

You get what you pay for. The qualities to be adequate. Fit is acceptable. They have a little my slop than I expected.
