Jamaican coffee is the best that I have had! **Q: What percentage of this coffee is actual Jamaica Blue Mountain, and what coffees are used in the blend?** A: A "blend" means it can be anywhere from Zero to some percentage. The fact that this company does not disclose how the percent of authentic JBM beans is telling. My guess is that it is probably 1% or less. **Q: what % of the blend is jamaican?** A: The details ae not readily available after re-reading tha packaging. It say Jamican Mountain Blue with Costa Rican, Brazilian, and other Caribean coffees. Stand alone it is a nice flavor. It has one of the better flavors for a blend like that. I blend it with a medium roast Kona blend and I also add a medium roast Sumatra to round things out. This is not a full Jamica mountain Blue, or else the price would be considrable higher, though it is a nice Rich blend. **Q: Is this authentic Jamaican coffee?** A: I don't know how to check on that, but it tastes exactly like the ones I'd purchased at local TJ Maxx stores until they stopped regularly carrying it. Light roast, smooth, but very rich strong flavor, and I drink it at less than half strength. For good mid-roast coffees, there are numerous Ecuadorian coffees. Every cup on the visit was delicious, no matter where we stopped. Don't know about export availability though. Try for some of the Galapagos organic coffee, I can recommend Semilla Verde coffee for certain. She really loves the taste of this one. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sweet Coffee *by T***R on November 22, 2012* I receivied this coffee and the aroma said it all. It smelled full of flavor and reminded me of being in a smalltown coffee shop with the fresh aroma of the room filled with this sweet smell of java. At first I made the coffee per directions which is one level Tbsp per 8 oz cup. I found it to be very strong and reminded me of an espresso shot. Hovever I reduced my measurmentt by about 30% and the coffee was light fresh and sweet. It tasted like a whole new cup of coffee. So the positive is that you can modify the level to your individual taste but at the same time have a light cup of coffee that is not too watered down. I wish I had it in bean form.
