These base anchor markers work well and fight tight in the anchor and I really like the cord that comes from the bottom of the marker to make it easy to remove. The only reason this isn't five stars is because the red plastic markers fall out after a few uses.

Got these for our local youth baseball organization. These plugs allow you to close the base posts and quickly find them again the next week for use. Most of our fields have 3 distances of base posts installed depending on the age group. These foam plugs are the easiest and cheapest option for both marking the posts and keeping the dirt from filling the posts.

We needed base plugs for our baseball field and these are more than adequate. They were easy to put in and with the included shovel, they were easy to get out and put in the bases. I also like that it is a set of 12 as, inevitably, they will wear out and this gives us two sets for both fields.

These Shappy base plugs with tassels are a solid addition to any baseball or softball field maintenance kit. They’re durable and easy to spot thanks to the attached tassels, which is a big help when you're setting up the field. You don’t have to worry about them breaking or cracking over time—they definitely hold up well to regular use. That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. When the field gets dragged, the plugs can get buried under the infield dirt, and occasionally they’ll pop out entirely. This means you might have to spend extra time digging around to put the bases in, especially if you're in a rush or working with a freshly dragged field. However, if you’re not too concerned about the extra digging or occasional re-placing of the plugs, they really do the job well. For the price and quantity, it’s a great value, and they’ll last a long time. Just be prepared for a little extra work during setup.

The foam is slightly to big and it didn't fit into the base anchor. The foam can be compressed to fit in but then the string and tassels pull out.

These were perfect for our baseball/softball dirt field. Since the field is used for both sports we have to have all bases set all the time. The little spiky hairs on top do tend to get pulled out when dragging so it is a good idea to have extras. However, they are very durable and do not need to be replaced all that often.
