Needing a Portable Power Station? You should deifintely review this one.
Not bad, not bad at all! It was incredibly well boxed in strong cardboard and, which for items like this tells me the seller is someone who is serious about their products and how well their products present to their buyers. I've used much smaller power banks in the past and they've all been pretty reasonable, but I spend more time outdoors and needed to run more electrical units like a 1500 watt room heater, cooling fans and the ability to recharge my phone, Drone batteries, emergency battery powered jumper cables, tire inflater, etc. This is a quiet unit right around 30 dB when running or charging which is incredibly quiet, close to a quiet whisper which is very respectable IMHO especially when sleeping, listening to music at a low volume or out hunting. After unboxing the Explorer, I plugged it in to completely charge it before use as is suggested in the instructions. It came with 79% charged, so getting to 100% took only a few minutes. The app you can download has an Emergency charging option that significantly decreases the charging time which is an A+ especially on a tight schedule. I tested the USB ports to make sure they were all functioning properly, which they were. It has 3 AC inputs which is perfect for my present needs. I tested my 1500 watt Space Heater going from fan only to the first heater (750 watt) option, then to the 2nd heater (1500 watt) option and all went very smooth. The second test was to assess the ability for the, up to 3000 watt surge, as is needed in heaters and/or small 1500 watt compressors (you need to know that some types of motors may require more than the 3000 surge watts for startup and choose accordingly.) Starting the heater on HI option II (1500 watts) right off the bat showed the Explorer output climb only 1875 watts then fall to the heaters running watts of 1450. As for funtionability, everything went perfectly as described. The LED panel looks very impressive, bright and is very professionally done. It has a power saving option set at default in case you forget about it and will turn itself off after 12 hours. This option can be changed if wanted. It appears to be built very solid in case it is accidently dropped, etc. There is also a round inch or so in diameter LED light on the front panel to help one see really well even in complete darkness. There are 3 light settings: low, high and SOS modes and believe me, the light is extremely bright. If you enjoy seeing circles, it'll get you there. There's a cigarette port charging option as well as a DC recharging port that can be utilized from your vehicle's cigarette port and of course there's the standard AC recharging port as well. I was fortunate to have purchased it and the carrying bag for 41% off and compared to the other well-made generators I researched, feel the buy was an excellent choice. At first, I thought $50 bucks for the carrying bag was a bit much, but after receiving it, I'm very impressed with how well and thought out the bag is, so I am very satisfied and feel the $50 was reasonable. Overall, I give the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 Portable Power Station and Carrying Bag a solid 5 Stars for everything I've mentioned above. As for commenting on any Cons, I feel I'd only be nitpicking so I won't waste either of our times.

Great Solar Generator
My husband has been looking for a solar generator for some time, this one checked the boxes on everything he wants. We are able to use it to run our camper during the fall time where we don’t have to use the traditional generator. It is well made and the battery lasts. It has even been used at our house in instances where we have lost power for short periods of time. It is easy to carry around, light weight, and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Worth the money for this Jackery
Works as intended and battery lasts for days. If using a heater though and it’s pulling 900watts or more the time this thing will power that is about 1-2 hours. It powers all my appliances on the go with no problem for hours on end. Sometimes all day.

Jackery 1000 , for camping, campers and outings because it’s one stop shopping for power.
Hackers Solar Generator 1000v2 with 200W Solar panels is excellent and easy to use with many functionality features for AV, DC, USB and lights and 1000W is bonus! This Jackery 1000v2 solar generator is sleek design and easy to set up and use. The well constructed solar panels add to portability , as well as being durable. I love how you can use the panels recharge or recharge in a plug in AC. The generator is great to have if you have campers or RV or traveling and an assurance your are self contained with power . The luxury in store is that this unit can run: fans , electric blankets or charging laptops and devices and most any backup you may need. I love my Jackery1000 with Solar 200W.

First Impressions
I just received my new Jackery Explorer 1000. I researched many different manufactures equivalents. Read hundreds of reviews and read a lot of "expert" on line opinions. Significantly influenced by Amazon's Prime days specials and price point, I finally pulled the trigger on this unit. These will be my initial thoughts VERY early in ownership. Shipping: Wanted to take it on an upcoming vacation, the advertised arrival was really going to be close. I'm happy to report it arrived on the first day of the advertised date span! 5 days total, nice! Boxing: Very good, very protected, Box in a box, not a scratch, Excellent! First Impression: This thing looks really good (almost pretty?), feels very solid, albeit a bit heavy. Manual: OK, small print, covers the basics Registration: Bad, really bad. There is a web site referenced in the manual that I could not get to work. Finally searched "Jackery" and after clicking around for about 30 minutes I stumbled across a reference to registration. Easy from there? Nope! After much trial & error, I finally got it registered. Had it not been for the free extended warrantee with registration, I would have given up. Wi-Fi / Bluetooth / App: I have two Wi-Fi channels in my home with boosters, the whole 9 yards. (My smart TV, 4 rooms away, behind closed doors, out in the garage, has no problem connecting. My security cameras, even farther away, no problem. Jackery, big problem, finally gave up. Bluetooth, better results, but very slow. Downloading the App to my iPhone was not a big deal and I was able to connect to the unit. I don't see me needing to turn the light on/off through my phone much. Same with turning the various connection points on/off. Its really slow to react to doing those things, kind of annoying actually. Not sure why you would need to turn on the unit screen on when you see it right there on your phone? What I do see as a good thing is being able use is using you phone to see things like Charging level %, Input Watts, Output Watts and unit temperature. Charging: Came with 31% charge. Used the included power cord and was able to get the unit to 100% in little over an hour. At first the input read 799 watts as charging. The charging wattage slowly dropped as it got closer to full charge. What's in the box: The unit itself, the power cord (about 6' 14awg) and the manual. No other wires or accessories. These are only my initial experiences, for now and with the exception of the connectivity & App issues, I'm liking this power station. Performance update: After charging to 100%, I used the 12v car type plug to connect my 35 qt Alpicool cooler/freezer. Either or both compartments can cool or freeze, so to test the Jackery, I set both side to 0 degrees: Monday 3:00pm started with 100% charge, cooler drawing about 33 watts 3:30pm 99% , both sides in the 20 degree range, cooler drawing 30-33 watts 4:30pm 97%, both sides around -1 to +4 degrees, cooler drawing 26-29 watts Tuesday 6:00am 68%, both sides around -1 to +4 degrees, cooler drawing 26-29 watts 3:00pm 49%, temp still good, still drawing in the 26-29 watt range as the cooler reaches its set temp the unit cycles off so its not using any power Wednesday 6:00am 18% same temp range, same draw range. I am very satisfied with the performance of my Jackery. Under normal conditions I would not set the cooler to 0 degrees on both sides. I easily got 39 hours run time, had I let it go, I maybe could have pushed 48 hrs run time before totally exhausting the battery. My goal with the cooler and the Jackery was to make it through a double header game watching my grandson, so good to go there! Originally was going to get something in the 500w range, but for the price................... Side Note: Alpicool dual compartment 12v cooler, wow! I am impressed with this cooler. To maintain 0 degrees and only pull 26-29 watts! How is that even possible? I have light bulbs that use more power than that!

Worth the money from a reputable brand
This might have been one of my favorite purchases of the year. The overall cost was great since it is on sale at the moment. I have done a ton of research around which system to go with and this by far takes it. Worth every penny. The power is stable and works for all of my device needs. I am able to power a diesel heater overnight while camping for my family and have plenty of power to last a few more days without charging. The overall capacity of power can easily last several days depending on use. The weight is on the higher end so its not as travel friendly but if you are overlanding like I am, the weight is irrelevant. I wouldn't take this on a hike at all. The size was a little bigger than expected so again, it is meant to stay put while camping or as emergency backup at home. I live in an area where power outages do happen at least a couple times a year but I work remote from home. This Explorer 1000 has more than enough power to take my server (2 managed POE switches, multiple cameras, router, modem, and power distribution) plus my work computer and water heater to last at least the day. Accompanied with the solar cell, it can last several days.

Great buy
I bought 3 jackery's all in different sizes and I love them. I love i can charge them in the House, car or with solar panels. I took them camping and used them to blow up mattresses, charge phones, run fans, charge lights and they still kept battery life. The 1000w one came with a very cool phone charger. These would be great in a crisis. Well worth the price. Not very heavy at all and they come with a pouch to keep all the cords in. Comes with the house charger and the car charger
