GradCap Replacement Metal Plate for Magnetic Phone Holder

Fitted this to my taxi. & it’s never missed a speed camera so Iv since bought 3 more for my family’s cars ! We’re all very happy with this & very good price !

I wrote a 1 star review of this product on the 7th Jun last year (2025) and criticized the poor magnetism of the metal plates they provided and that they were not capable of holding the phone to my phone base on the dash. I am now writing to correct this and to apologise to GradCap for dissing them as, had I examined my phone holder a little futher, I would have noticed that a magnetic ring had been attached to the main plate of the supplied unit already when it was shipped. I opened it, eager try it out and failed to notice or remove this magnetic ring. Hence with the metal plate from GradCap fixed to the back of my phone, there was no magnetic attraction to the holder and the phone just fell off. Had I ut removed this disc and stuck it on ythe back of my phone it would have worked and there would have been no need to have purchased a GradCap in the first place. I now appologise profusely to Grad Cap and have to congratulate them on making a product that sticks like **** to a blanket, holds my phone like a rock even on ythe bumpiest of tracks. I am glad that I did not take up their generous offer of a refund. And I have spares for the missus' phone too! It only took me six months to find out how much of a dunderhead I was. I just felt it was my duty to redress the balance. GREAT PRODUCT GRADCAP!!!

Really strong metal plate great for my sat nav on the dashboard

When i changed my phone I could not reattach the magnetic plate to connect to the car holder. So bought these works perfectly . Holds the phone firm . All good thank you

Didn’t stick to phone. However, maybe I needed to wait for 30 mins for glue to dry before trying to mount the phone. Only realised this once I’d thrown everything away! Also, said “no logo”. But, came with GradCap actually printed on the plates. However, seller immediately offered a refund. So, good customer service.

Great product really strong magnet and has not come off my phone yet even when phone got really hot in the sun.

Easy to install, good magnetic connection. Holds strong in the car. I love the variety of shapes and sizes. Great value!
