I got this lamp when it was still under $90, and wow is it a steal! Identical (literally, identical) lamps online go for around $200 and the West Elm equivalent is $300-$400. The lamp is gorgeous and exactly as described with milk glass bulbs, metal stand (both the matte black and brass parts are metal), and solid marble base. Manufacturer’s descriptions were accurate, and quality was good with no blemishes at viewing distance. I’ve had it for a week with no electrical issues, but I cannot stress enough how important getting the correct bulb is – as you’ll read in reviews for this lamp and similar multi-bulb lamps, the wrong bulb will send your lamp up in smoke. Given reviews for this and similar lamps, it sounds like some lamps might just have faulty wiring, but I did not experience that with my purchase. DETAILED REVIEW: ASSEMBLY AND DELIVERY: Total assembly took less than 20 minutes with one person and the box it came in was small and light. It actually arrived a day early when I ordered it! MATERIALS AND QUALITY: As mentioned above, materials and quality were good, especially for the price! None of the blemishes, which included a few scratches on the brass bulb fixtures and some spots on the bulbs, were visible from viewing distance and really didn’t impact overall appearance. The base is heavy and solid marble, which makes the whole lamp stable. The marble itself is mostly white without a ton of black marbling, but I think it still looks good. The matte black and brass portions are both metal and twist together easily (although you might need to pull on the cord a bit hard to make sure it goes through all the way). Make sure you do a final twist on the whole thing to ensure it’s solid – there should be no wobbling. The glass bulbs were a gorgeous, milky color as described. BULBS: As the description says, this lamp DOES NOT come with bulbs and you must order them separately. Double and triple check the product description to make sure you get the correct bulbs! The bulbs for this lamp are easy to find on Amazon. You can get 10 for ~$20 (sometimes cheaper). I got the correct bulbs and had no issues installing them and turning the lamp on. FUNCTION AND APPEARANCE: This lamp is bright, but not too bright. While the light is pretty white, it manages to have a nice ambiance about it and definitely has a mid-century vibe. Even when not turned on, it’s a statement piece. The foot pedal is not on the base, but on the cord which is convenient for placing it wherever you want, especially if you want it on a stand to give it some extra height. The brass portion is a very bright, shiny brass (not dull or antique in style). Usually I would think such bright brass is tacky, but because it’s surrounded by the matte black portion of the pole and the soft lights, I felt it was perfectly toned with the rest of the lamp. HEIGHT: Something to consider is this is not a very tall lamp, standing at just over 5 ft tall, which is pretty much true for all lamps in this style. On its own, the lamp goes great next to seating like couches or chairs. However, if you have tall ceilings or want it in the corner of a room, the lamp might look underwhelming without a stand or something to give it extra height.

While it did get me through almost 4 years, 2 of the globes have exploded due to the light simply being on. They are made of a material that sounds like someone through a brick through your window when it breaks, and it shatters in a million little sharp pieces. Can’t recommend.

The gold is somewhat gaudy but it looks nice enough in the living room. Unfortunately one of the bulbs got stuck in the shade and I can’t get it out so one light is missing.

I took a risk with this considering the previous reviews however my lamp has worked out wonderfully it was easy to assemble there’s been no shortage and it even came with bulbs. However the price does tend to fluctuate a lot with this item as it is sold by a third-party seller-make sure to hold out and wait for it to go under $80, like I did.

I purchased this for my room and initially it was great but I found it to be way too bright so I removed two of the bottom lights to make it a perfect and stable lighting for my room

Looks exactly like the photos! It DID came with the LED bulbs but I decided to buy a different one since the one that came with it is more of a white bluish. I prefer a soft yellow light. Very easy to put to together and works just as described. I love how expensive looking it is and it illuminates a small living room well. Highly recommended

After reading the reviews that said it didn’t come with light bulbs, I decided to buy the bulbs separately only to find out it does come with bulbs! The assembly was easy and only took 45 mins. My apartment is small so the light is the perfect size for it!
