Great product, slow delivery
The product, itself, gets 5 stars for the quality and the results it has brought me over the last year and a half of nearly daily use. However, if you have an option to order it from somewhere other than Amazon, you will get it much more quickly. I ordered this as a "next day delivery" from Amazon as I have before when I ran out and life got too busy for a trip to the store, a search for an employee with a locked cabinet key or work phone, and the long checkout line. As before, I had to wait much longer than a week. I was about to start my request for a refund today when I got the notification it was out for delivery. If this was only the first time with this product, I wouldn't complain. Because I was waiting for the time frame allowed by the Amazon notifications I received to request a refund due to non-delivery I went ahead and ordered from my local Walmart using my Walmart Plus app. It was delivered in under an hour. As far as the product goes, AMAZING results. It does require continuous use but not daily for a lot of folks. I'm in menopause with fine hair that's been thinning since my 30s and after about 6 months I noticed 1/4 inch growth of baby hairs both where I applied it and at the nape of my neck. After a year and a half, my baby hairs are about 4 inches long and my thin hair at the crown is filled in and it's all strong enough for the bun I have to keep it in for work.

some "sort of" Rogaine misconceptions
I started using Rogaine when I was in my 50s and I'm now in my 70's, so I'm going on close to 20 years. I've been meaning to write this review for a long time because I wanted to address some possible misconceptions people may have. #1. You have to use Rogaine every day for the rest of your life. While it is true you have to continue to use minoxidil if you want to keep your hair, you do not need to use it every day for the rest of your life. I'm pretty sure I used it every day for the first year and a half, but after that I noticed that even if I missed a day my hair didn't fall out; then if I missed a couple days, 3 days, a week. So for most of the time I've been using Rogaine, I've only been using it about once every 10 days. Sometimes, I'll go longer and I'll start seeing more hair in the shower. When that happens, I'll just use the Rogaine then go back to my every 10 days schedule. I would not recommend that you purposely skip days until your hair regrowth is firmly established, but once it is, you can try experimenting. Which brings me to "sort of" Misconception #2: If you go longer than two weeks without using Rogaine, your hair will fall out. Well, it will start to fall out, but it doesn't all fall out on Day 15. And, as noted above, once you restart the Rogaine, the hair loss will stop. (I don't know for how long of a period of abstention this will hold true.) Misconception #3: you have to apply the foam directly to the areas of hair loss. I found this was a misconception because I was only applying the minoxidil to the right side of my head since that was where I had noticed the thinning. Well, lo and behold, I started losing hair on my left side as well. I never lost enough hair on the left to make it noticeable, but it did tell me that the minoxidil was affecting my entire scalp and, in fact, my hair became super thick on the left side of my head. Which brings me to Misonception #4: Wait as long as you can to start the Rogaine. I did this and it was a big mistake. Before you start growing new hair with minoxidil, you will lose all the hairs that were going to fall out anyway. The further along you are on your hair loss path, the fewer healthy hairs you're going to have on your head and the more you're going to notice this initial hair loss caused by the minoxidil. I'd never thought I was a vain person before starting the Rogaine, but I probably cried every night for the first four months of use. I'm not proud of myself for doing so but it's a fact that I did. So, I hope all the above can alleviate some of the concerns people may have about starting Rogaine. My only regret is that I didn't start it earlier. There is also one tip I have: when applying the Rogaine, use a finger cot, The Rogaine never bothered my scalp, but my finger got sore either from getting a higher dose than any single point on my head or because of the friction of rubbing so many hairs.

It surprisingly works! I'm still shocked I didn't waste my money on another hair-growth product.
So, I was not expecting this to work but...wow. It does. I have a hormonal imbalance which caused excessive hair shedding. I also began to notice that I was really thinning on the hairline, left side only, top corner. I used to get bangs just to hide it but that wasn't working anymore. I began using Purador (you can find it here) which is an organic shampoo that stops hair-loss and thickens hair. It def helped with the shedding but I never noticed new hair growth, especially where I needed it most. It has been almost 2 months since I began to use Rogaine and I am so shocked at the dark patch of new hair I am getting. I will post pix soon but you can majorly see the growth of new hair. They are still baby hairs but they are growing fast and thick. Even my mom pointed out that my hairline looks fuller. I def plan to keep using this foam. It is so easy to apply with no hassles or foul odor. Doesn't leave dandruff or anything like that. I didn't think this would work for me since my hair loss is hormonal but it did. *UPDATE* I just added 3 photos. It starts from the left and the middle photo is almost 2 months using the foam. The far right was taken yesterday.
