I was pleasantly surprised. Connected to the battery and provided full power to DJ equipment for the entire family reunion (over 6 hours) with 85% battery left. I was impressed.

Worth the $ . Great for camping and beach / ocean time.

This solar panel has a unique design I've not seen in a portable solar panel before. Most panels I've used have the panels attached to the folding case and the angle supports fold against the back of the case. With this panel's design, the opened case sits flat on the ground and the angle supports sit on it, leaning up to support the panels. This design apparently allows the solar panels to pass some light through them which reflects off the reflective surface of the inside of the case and generates a bit more energy coming back through the panel. I love the innovative thinking and maximization of the output of each panel. However, in practice I don't love it. The first issue is that you have to lay the outside of the folded panel right on the ground. If you want to set up the panel in the morning while there's still dew on the ground that means getting your panel wet. If there's red dirt like there is near me, the outside of the panel turns red quickly. This is the side that should be kept clean so that it can be stored in a camper or vehicle without getting everything it touches dirty. Another downside to this panel is setting it up. You have to remove 3 separate support legs from pouches in the case and then attach them to the top and bottom of the panel. That's 10 different things you have to do before you're ready to stand the panel up. Compare that to the standard folding panel design where you just open the panel, flip out the back supports, and you're done. This panel takes 3x-4x more time to deploy and pack up. The power output box where the cable comes out and where there are USB ports is on the front of the panel...right in the full sunlight. Every other panel I've used has had this box on the back of the panel out of the sun. The components in this box will be exposed to direct sun while using the panel and could fail over time from getting too hot in a small unventilated black box. When setting up the panel on the reflective outer case, the way the case drapes over grass, stones, etc makes it lie uneven on the ground. The panel that stands on top of this uneven reflective case then also tends to want to bend and not face directly towards the sun. This can even be seen in the manufacturer's video. Sure the panels roughly face the sun, but it makes me wonder if any extra efficiency gained by the unique reflective ground layer isn't more than offset by some of the panels pointing 5° or 10° away from the sun. While I appreciate the originality and ingenuity of this solar panel in some ways, for me the downsides outweigh the plusses of this unique design.

As soon as I took this portable solar panel out of the box I could literally see the quality of it; from the panels to the materials to the wires! As soon as I put it up in the sun it was working! The red LED light on the back immediately came on and was letting me know that it was operating correctly. It was SO simple! The plug that comes out of your solar panel and plugs into your solar generator has 6 different adapters, so this solar panel is able to charge 99% of all solar generators that are out on the market today. Along with that, it has a 2 USBs and a USB C plug-in ports., so as you are charging your solar generator you can also be charging a flashlight, tablet, power bank, phone, etc. at the same time. This solar panel folds up nicely and then has a beautiful cover/sleeve that it goes into and stores. So it does come with a cover. It uses A grade monocrystalline silicone solar cells, which are some of the best in the industry. It has a 24% higher efficiency than other solar panels, it will also last longer and is much easier to clean than traditional solar panels. It has an open circuit voltage of 21.6v and a short circuit current of 5.56amps, which means it's a very solidly built solar panel! The quality of this unit is outstanding. It can charge my solar bank in less than an hour and a half. I have many solar panels, and this by far is one of the best units that I own. It really is light enough to take with you when camping, and it would be a must-have for any R.V.er. The solar panel has many anchor holes which lets you attach it to an RV door, tree, fence, etc or just put it in the grass with its included props. My only complaint with this solar panel is that the stand is separate from the solar panel. You have to hook the stand to the solar panel instead of it being a part of the solar panel. I will say that the stand that they include is very secure so I can work around having to attach it each time. Plus I really love the carrying handle that is built-into this solar panel. It has a very nice grip and isn't cheaply made. In order to get the best charge out of this, you may have to adjust the angle of it several times a day. The correct angle can almost double the output of this unit. Part of the cover is a reflective mat that the solar panel sits on which reflects light to the back of the solar panel letting it charge on both sides! This gives you 15% more energy than just a front charging solar panel. This solar panel is very simple, even to the novice, it is plug and play and works perfectly! I'm highly impressed with this portable solar panel, the build quality, and can highly recommend it!

I tested this solar panel mostly on cloudy days, so I haven't unlocked its full potential yet, but even under these conditions, it performed pretty well. Here are a few great features worth mentioning: - The panel comes with a package that's not only a reflective pad but also includes a zippered pocket to store all the cables and accessories. Super handy! - It absorbs more sunlight than my other battery because it's double-sided. - Setup is quick, especially after the first try. By the third time I set it up, it took no time at all. - Multiple installation options are available, including hanging it on an RV (though only one side will be effective in that case). - Out-of-the-box charging capabilities include 65W via USB-C, meaning you can work on a 65W laptop in the sun without any issues, just using a USB-C cable. - The cables and adapters fit two of my power stations (not from the same brand as panel), and they worked perfectly together. Now, for some details: the back side of the panel isn't as efficient as the front. It only catches reflected light, so it's best to set it up with the proper side facing the sun. Still, as the sun moves, the back can grab some extra light, which helps if you're charging a power station. On a cloudy day, I couldn’t charge both a power station and a device through the USB-C port simultaneously. It can handle one or the other, but not both at once. I haven't had the chance to test it in full sunlight yet. Even so, it charges my power station, even on a cloudy day, and I couldn’t be happier. On the cons side: its block with cables is on the top (front side) and it doesn't look well water-protected. So you need to think about solution if you want to leave it under the possible rain. The other part of panel is water protected. So it some of the flows which make it slightly less than perfect. In summary, I recommend this solar panel for its thoughtful design, broad compatibility, and performance. Best one I've owned so far!
