Very informative book.
This covers wine from the taste perspective. Find a region, like Spain, a grape, like Rioja, and then the author teaches you like a sommelier as to the characteristics of smell and taste of the wines that come from the various areas and vineyards in that region. Very informative and easy to grasp the concepts. We have it on top of our wine cabinet for handy reference.

A Must for All Wine Industry Professionals
I work as a sommelier in Midtown Manhattan and this is the single best resource I've found on the topic of wine. Extremely applicable to the products we sell with incredible comparative notes on the villages of Burgundy. Super user friendly and applicable. Incredible photography from the great estates and the writing is zippy and delicious! Superb.

A wine book we all need
Informative yet easy to read and browse through the different sections. Their writing style paints a true picture in your head of the wines and regions you’re reading about. If you read their first book Secrets of the Sommeliers, this is an incredible, in-depth follow up.

There are far too many words in this book. I’m sure they are superb works but as it’s called an Atlas I would have expected that in 355 pages they could have slipped in at least one, what are they called.... maps...

Great explanations, and content, although he focus a lot in France and the most renowned. A book to be called Atlas should have more countries and regions that doesn't appear in this book.

That's the kind of wine book I have waited for for so long! That's one of the few books you actually benefit from the writers experience! 100% recommended!
