Best chair ever!!!
WOW! This is an amazing update to the already incomparable herman miller aeron chair! Love the light color (looks very neutral), feel, everything about this. Posture fit is incredible with the lumbar support it provides. Also all the adjustments make this chair truly an overachiever in ergonomic comfort and support. My hubby and I are both tall - I'm 5'11" and he's 6'2" with a sturdy build so the C size is perfect. We feel like we're floating while sitting on this chair. No pressure spots whatsoever... Forward tilt for active typists, tilt limiter for those that need a bit of recline but don't want to be totally on your back... adjustable arms - side for support while using the mouse and inward whilst typing as well as up and down, forward and back (just incredible)... and the movements are so smooth and intuitive! The casters are SILENT as they roll smoothly from our hardwood to area rugs! this is SUCH an amazing purchase for us as both my husband and I work from home quite often. I only wish we could afford 2 so we wouldn't have to share! HA! This model is a wonderful buy and the delivery was SUPER fast! If you're looking for a great Aeron with all the features... BUY IT NOW!

One of the finest items I have ever purchased--unbelievable comfort!
It was tough to pay full price, but this is one of the finest items I have ever purchased!! The quality, precision and detail are amazing. The Mineral color is beautiful, and it is a nice change from dark colors. The comfort has surpassed my expectations!!! I have never had an Aeron chair, so my experience is only with this newer version. I wanted the latest version that is updated, with the research done on sitting over the last two decades by the company. I am sitting more now at my computer and I was starting to be very uncomfortable in my old chair which had started to feel like a brick. It was good quality, but I have had it a very long time. There is no comparison--this chair is supportive, makes you want to maintain good posture and responds to your body. I am glad I went for the adjustable version for the best fit. The ongoing discomfort I have been experiencing recently while sitting at my computer, has resolved almost immediately. I spent hours researching ergonomic chairs, and all roads kept leading back to Herman Miller Aeron. I figured this purchase is like a bed--I spend significant time in it so I want it to be good for my aging body. It will last for many years.

They replace the aluminum base with a PLASTIC one
This is the 2nd Aeron chair I bought - the first one was on its official website a few months ago and this one is from Amazon. It looked like a good deal here: the "same" configuration but can save you about $100. However when I receive the chair I noticed the difference very soon - it's the material of the base. The one purchased from the official website is made of aluminum with a matte finish, but the new one uses a plastic base with a visually similar finish so they look really alike. And this explains why the "polished aluminum" option available on the official website does not exist here. They can't polish plastic to make it look like metal while they can produce matte-finished plastic easily. So if they want to add the "polished" color option here, they will have to use real aluminum and this will cause inconsistent prices among different colors. I don't want to say it's cheating, but it's definitely misleading that it tries to tell you that you've got a good deal here without explicitly state that the "deal" is due to cheaper materials on the base. With the $100 price difference I'd rather upgrade to the aluminum, matte-finished base.

Beautiful chair, but not for very tall people
I am 6' 7" and nearly 300 lbs. I did a ton of research and found on many websites, lists, and reviews that this was one of the top chairs for tall people. Guess I'm not within their definition of tall. In order for this chair to work for my build, it would need to be about 2" taller on the back, about 1-2" deeper on the seat, an inch or more taller in seat height, and about 2" wider on the seat. Had it been larger in these ways, it might have been a great chair for me. Pros: + The Mineral color provides for a gorgeous chair + I fully believe that this would be supportive and ergonomic if I actually fit in it + The tilt forward feature is great - maybe my favorite feature of it + Excellent build quality Cons: - No arm width adjustment - No seat depth adjustment - No back height adjustment - Maximum seat height for "size C" isn't enough - Not a particularly comfortable chair - Seat frame too small and pushes into legs in sides and front (for my size) - Top of the back frame makes leaning back uncomfortable Not necessarily knocking it for all these cons, as I knew most of these were quirks of the chair when I bought it. The main thing is that they claim someone my size (and larger even) should be comfortable in this chair, and I definitely was not. For what it is worth I tried the Steelcase Leap (V1 I think), and that one didn't really fit me well either. The search continues...

Not as comfortable as marketed!
Seat was shorter than other office chairs, arms, even extended were too close, and did not extend to length for use as gamer or office chair. Seller was slow to send, chair showed signs of being reassembled, not new (SCRATCHES AROUND SEAT BACK SCREWS). Seller wanted me to pay for return for unsatisfied, and 10 to 30% restocking fee. Brand is noted for better quality, but this was not a better than all chair. Would not recommend seller, as this was not "new" but used. Took inordinate time to ship from West Coast, and since it was not in original shipping contained, the owner's manual, and wrench to put screws in were missing.
