I really like the Softbox. It will be a great asset to my studio shoot. Pros: Lighting is awesome! Looks great! I said in an earlier review that it was missing the Honeycomb, but I was wrong. It fell out and was amongst my other photo gear. Gave 4 stars instead of 3. Cons: Not easy to pull apart once I put it together. Not as portable as I would like it to be, but not a problem.

Easy to store. Easy-ish to assemble. Exactly what I expected based on design and function. I’m happy with these strip boxes. If you’re looking for budget hair lights, they’re a great beginner’s kit.

I wanted to have a strip light box for shooting products, as a round soft box creates a round reflection. I prefer a square/rectangle reflection for product shots. Build quality is OK for the price, but I doubt it will hold up to a lot of assembly cycles. The main "shell" material seems OK, but the fabric mounting points for the rods are designed like other soft boxes that have failed me, so I'm not optimistic. The inner diffusion mounts via tiny hooks; they hold, they work, but Velcro attachments would be much easier to work with. The outer diffusion material is decent quality with more Velcro than needed. The grid is a great addition to have, so I am quite glad they included it. Many other similarly prices soft boxes do not include the grid. The main drawback is that there are NO INSTRUCTIONS, so good luck figuring out which speed ring holes the rods insert into. Search YouTube for some examples of assembling other strip light boxes for assistance. Once you figure out which holes to use, you want to mark them for future reference if you intend to reassemble this. Overall, it's not bad for the price. The item is quite adequate for permanent studio use, but the assembly and material quality won't hold up under frequent field use.

Great! Easy to put together, great carrying case, lightweight. The system they created to open the softbox up is brilliant. I have some where you have to try and fit the rods into the metal Bowen mount ring and every time I use them I want to scream and throw them out. I seriously wish I had found these softboxes years ago.

I started doing "still life" type shoots more seriously a few months back, and while I have several small round and square soft boxes, I decided that I needed a small rectangular strip box, so picked out and ordered this one. I have always liked Godox, so felt comfortable ordering this one, and I am quite pleased with it and it's construction. Assembling this soft box was the usual hassle, but there are only 4 spring wire rods to deal with in this one, so considerably less hassle. I found that using a Golf Tee to open the rod pockets in the 4 corners saved a lot of the usual trouble. The pockets are always flat and stiff when new. These golf tees made it easy I used them again to open the loops half way down the rods that keep the rods from bowing. The Bowens center hub is kind-of universal, so it has rod holes for many different soft box patterns. Finding the right 4 to use with this soft box took a bit of experimenting, but I'm getting better at this. Putting the 1/2 way diffuser in was also similar to assembly of the diffusers in other soft boxes, but fortunately there only 4 hooks to snap onto the elastic loops in this soft box. I haven't used it yet, but just to be certain that the Bowens mount would connect to my lights the same as my other soft boxes, I did try several lights in it and they all connected to this one perfectly. Last year I had bought a similar sized soft box, but it had a wire frame that crossed too close over the hole where the lights attach, making it impossible to use with the long modeling light bulbs in my studio strobes. Maybe for an LED modeling light, but not the regular bulbs. So I had to return that one. This isn't a problem at all with this strip box. There is nothing in the way for the standard modeling lights in this strip box.

I was going to give this 4 stars because of the setup. However, after setting it up a few times it isn't too bad. Pros Works great Price compact Cons Slight learning curve for me setting it up

While it seems easy enough to assemble. I Had to go back to Amazon product video to figure out how to install the posts properly. I struggled a bit. Once assembled it feels very solid and quality material. I’m excited to shoot with this. Also my dog is in the pic cause she likes to help.

Macht was es soll, bei Produktfotografie nicht zu gebrauchen, aber bei Portrait sehr hilfreich, Achtung das Gitter ist nicht Hitzeresistent eines davon ist mir geschmolzen, aber nur durch direkte Berührung mit der Modellierlampe dies würde ich also nicht empfehlen. aber ansonsten würde ich die Boxen wiederkaufen und jedem empfehlen!

Cumple totalmente con mis expectativas. Es importante ver el vídeo explicativo de cómo se monta, que aparece en la página de Amazon, porque no viene con instrucciones de montaje. Pero viendo el vídeo no hay problemas.

Cumple su función pero es demasiado incomodo para transportar. También para colocar en la caja de luz es complicado. Material resistente pero no se ve tanto. Me dejó con mucho que desear a comparación de otros productos de godox
