Engel 19qt Leak-Proof, Air Tight, Drybox Cooler and Small Hard Shell Lunchbox for Men and Women

Purchased this to replace an ancient Playmate cooler. This is the perfect size for multiple cans and has a tray for items you don't want in the ice. Best of all, it does a great job of keeping the ice viable longer. It's light weight and easy to carry by the handle or shoulder strap.

Great little cooler, it keeps my stuff cold for a long 12hour shift in a steelmill environment. It is well built.

I purchased this for my nephew for Christmas. It was nicer than I expected. My nephew said many of the guys he works with in a mine use these. He stood on it to show me how tough it was. It has a nice sized tray inside (he put his phone, wallet, and keys in), along with ample room for lunch, snacks and drinks for one or two people. It seemed to seal well and has a clean sleek look to it.

Lunch cooler- its a good solid cooler...gets cold and stays cold as advertised ...this is my 2nd one.

I actually bought the 13 quart and all though it was perfect for many. My lunchbox carries all my daily essentials, etc. So that top lid container I keep all my things I brew with me daily. It with the 19 quart have plenty of space for all my containers, energy drinks, etc. Just a well-made lunchbox. 35 years in the trade, they still get excited about the little things.

This is definitely a long term review of this cooler/lunchbox as I ordered mine in May of 2018 and have used it daily since that time as my lunchbox and occasionally as a small cooler. It performs fantastically as my daily lunchbox. I work in a factory that gets super hot in summer and I can put in ice packs and it keeps my drinks and food cold for duration of my shift. It’s very sturdy in its construction, except for a couple of issues. One of the plastic hinges on the back did eventually break. But after probably 4 or 5 years of use. They do make metal replacements and that’s what mine has on it now. Also, the strap on mine broke not long after having it. I ended up making my own strap for it and still use it to this day. As far as everything else, it’s been fantastic. I paid around 40 dollars for mine 7 years ago and they’ve more than doubled in price since then but so has just about everything else. I remember an older coworker at the time commenting on the price and how he’d never pay that much for a lunchbox. It been worth it to me even with replacing the hinges. That is one thing they should change is make them with metal hinges and ditch the plastic ones. You won’t be sorry if you ourchase one but like other reviews stated it’s not going to hold ice for a few days on end but for short trips or for a daily lunchbox it works fantastic. A great little cooler/lunchbox.

Very happy with this for a lunch cooler. I’ve had the 13qt bait cooler for a few years and love it and never had an issue so I figured I’d give the lunch cooler a try. I use 2 igloo ice packs and it keeps everything cold for the 8 to 10 hour days at work. It’s not in direct sunlight but it stays in a shop that’s not air conditioned. Does what I need it to do. It’s light weight and plenty of room. I got the 19qt and at first I thought “whoa it’s big” but after using it for a couple weeks now, it’s perfect size. The latches are easy to use. The shoulder strap is good but I ended up using a shoulder strap from another bag I had for the shoulder pad and adjustable length. Very happy so far.

This cooler not only looks tough but IS TOUGH! My husband uses this cooler for everyday use as his lunch pale and is in and out of equipment every day. I have had it in the bed of his truck and taken it through the carwash, had it FLY out and I am almost certain it still didn't put a scratch on it. It's easy to open and close and perfect for a working man that needs to pack drinks, snacks and a full course meal and keeps your food/drinks cold all day long with the right ice pack. It also comes with a strap so you can carry it over your shoulder as well and is durable enough to sit on at a family event or bonfire. On weekends it doubles perfectly as a minnow bucket while out fishing!

Highly recomended, i own 6 different coolers, ORCA, Coleman steel belted, etc, and this is the one that i use most by far. Very practical. Altamente recomendable, tengo 6 hieleras de diferentes tamaños y tipos, de todas, esta es la que más uso , por ser ligera, práctica, y alta mente portable. Este tamaño, de 19 qt, es la más conveniente. La llevas a todos lados sin ocupar mucho espacio, sirve de lonchera tambien. Lo único que no me gustó, es q las bisagras son de plástico y no de metal, fuera de eso, es un must have, si te gustan los outdoors.

I love this product however one of the latches are a little stiff and make a creaky noise.
