Purchased this and couldn’t get it to work. Enclosed instructions not very clear. Viewed YouTube videos to try and troubleshoot and still couldn’t get it to work. Amazon sent a replacement quickly and I couldn’t get this this to work either. Contacted Temptu and they sent me a pod and bam! This baby works like a charm! The airbrush unit was not the culprit after all , but the pods that came with both units were defective in some way. It takes some trial and error but once you get the hang of it, airbrushed makeup is fast and easy and looks great!

I used this in a LIVE on Facebook and we all tried together to get this to work. I think the single cartridges although amazing in concept might dry our and get clogged, I am not sure but I have used other airbrush devices and I could not get my single cartridge to work. The issue I also had was I bought other colors and didn't realize I needed an empty vial to add them into, I thought the device would at least come with one empty and then the foundation cartridge. Very disappointing and I'm hopeful Temptu will help. I messaged them on IG and they never responded. I go through a ton of products as I review them here LIVE on Amazon as an Amazon Live influencer, I am one of the first beauty streamers here as well as my large Youtube channel Natural Kaos with 40 million views. I believe its a defective issue with my single cartridge but now I can't return it because I bought it in June and didn't unbox it until August which means I am outside of the return window. I have a feeling Temptu will make it right and I can update this review soon.

I had used a spray can type of Airbrush in the past and it was hard to create a smooth appearance since it was not possible to control the flow. Recently though I had used foundation that I would put on with my fingers and then smooth it out with a brush, with mixed results. So that was my experience going into my purchase. The setup directions that were provided were not the best. So I checked the web site and watched a video of the process that answered the missing information. I sprayed foundation onto my leg with the suggested circular swirl which had a two day old coating of tanning cream. This was to get comfortable with the process in an area that I could watch while I practiced. Once comfortable I shifted to spraying on my face. Initially and before I sprayed foundation, the air compressor was blowing air into the corner of my eyes which are real sensitive to air flow. This was causing me to squint and I knew it would be a problem once I started spraying foundation. I happened to have tanning bed goggles that just covered the eyes but not any skin. They allowed me to spray foundation over my entire face while still seeing what I was doing in a makeup mirror. I was very pleased with the results. It did not cover the wrinkles and loose skin of my 64 year old face but it was a step up from using liquid foundation. It also uses considerably less foundation than the standard liquid foundation which will make a big difference in the long run. I still had an age spot that was observable so I did use a touch of liquid foundation to help, so keep yours around. As far as the wrinkles go I will have to continue to use my skin tightener to tighten some areas, but this is not designed for that purpose. I spent the extra money to get a cordless type of AirBrush. With a hair dryer and straightener iron plus other devices plugged in it was one less thing to find a receptacle for. Temptu makes attachments that will do roots, eyebrows and other areas. I will probably get the root attachment but I don't think I will need to do my eyebrows frequent enough to get that attachment. I learned that it is best to clean the AirPod after use each day with the enclosed cleaning tool.

Airbrush works well. Gotta get used to it says my wife.

First of all, I received the wrong shade... ordered nude, got bisque.. now the overpriced airflow pump blows AIR ONLY! I tried a pod I have from my older machine that broke after a year and started blowing air! Nothing came out from this brand new machine! Not even a drop of makeup! I should’ve known not to buy it again, since my first $200 machine lasted less than a year! This one came already blowing air!! Terrible purchase.. returned! I’ve had multiple issues with this overpriced company before.. I even received makeup that exploded upon opening, after a long wait, they replaced 2 of my 3 pods with DEFECTIVE pods.. my advice.. stay away!

I made a giant mistake by taking this on a trip by plane and not taking the pod out. The product must have clogged up the machine as it hasn't worked since. Unfortunately I'm passed the return date by a few weeks and I am out $200. :( I just would've expected more from Temptu.

I tried Aeroblend first, and though I liked the color and lightweight feel, the gun sprayed unevenly and left a blotchy pixelated finish. This system is AWESOME. I have some acne scarring/melasma and can use concealer before/after without breaking the smooth finish. Close up spray on low works well too, without leaving a heavy build up. I also have some fine lines (gee, I sound like such a beauty! 😂...) and this system doesn’t settle into them as much—likely due to the silicone. I do use a silicone primer and sometimes, setting spray. THE PODS can’t be beat for clean up! And having no cord is priceless. Caveat: this system cannot be returned!! And though I used the Temptu color match to select my foundation shade, it’s a tad dark; so I will need to pursue another pod purchase. In my opinion WELL WORTH IT regardless!!
