I love technology, in fact, I work in tech, but this product has horrible usability! ### ⭐⭐⭐ Disappointed in the range for non myQ openers *by A***S on 21 May 2026* I bought this because I have one Liftmaster and one Genie garage door opener. The Genie is connected to a myQ hub, and I thought I could connect to the Genie through that, but it was not the case. It did allow me to program to the Genie following the standard programming steps, but I was truly shocked at the range for the Genie. No exaggeration, it only works up to 6 feet away. The Liftmaster that was linked through the myQ app works fine from a reasonable distance. There is nothing wrong with my Genie, as my vehicle garage remotes and the Genie remotes work from at least 150’ away…the farthest I have tried to use them due to line of sight.
