Product Description 3M Scotch-Seal Tape 2229 is a 125-mil thick, highly conformable, tacky mastic pad on an easy release liner that's suitable for insulating, padding and sealing of objects that need to be protected from adverse environmental conditions. It withstands temperatures up to 194 degrees F (90 degrees C). From the Manufacturer This is a 125 mil in pad form is conformable, durable, tacky mastic with an easy release liner for easy applications over irregular surfaces for excellent moisture resistance. Inner pack of 10 per box with 40 per case.

Review: Sticky and rubbery - can't fault it - Not much to say beyond this does exactly what you'd expect. It adheres well to most surfaces and bonds really well to itself. I've used it extensively with no issues at all. Great product.

Not much to say beyond this does exactly what you'd expect. It adheres well to most surfaces and bonds really well to itself. I've used it extensively with no issues at all. Great product.

Used it to attach plexiglass to the sunroof hole on my car. Worked pretty well to seal it. Secured the plexiglass with scews.
