As close to silk as any sythetic can hope for.
Better than I had expected. This sageo comes as close to silk as I believe it can. It does not collapse like typical nylon chord and provides a solid wrap with vibrant color. The only negative is that it is not as soft as silk, but do not let that deter you.

Great feel for your sword grip.
I used this to wrap the handle of my foam wakizashi, and the result looks and feels great! Very comfortable and definitely helps me keep a secure grip on my weapon. Very important in LARP!

Good product
A good product in my opinion. I wrapped a wakizashi & bokken with this material and both turned out pretty good. Inexpensive way to rewrap a worn out handle and the shipping was very fast.

I purchased this "Synthetic Silk", black sageo/ito wrap... and it was as stretchy as heck. Then I realized... this is just strait up nylon. NOT having it!!
