Perfect bake darling?
Update for well done - changed my baking to this: heat the oven, set at 375 for 21 minutes, insert peanuts, every 7 minutes stir, leave them outside in cookie sheet until they are cold - now enjoy! First time getting this after trying some Fis***r brand from a B&M store. Price is right and quality is great imho. We like our peanuts a bit on the well done side, so at first I tried 350 for 15 minutes in the oven on a cookie sheet - as specified in Q&H here. Well, they were not done for our taste. Next I decided to cook: wash the peanuts through a strainer then put them on the sheet and salt and mix them, and in the oven at 350 for 12 minutes, pull them out and mix them with a bamboo tool and put throw them in again for another 12 minutes @ the same 350. I have gas oven and I think it is a bit on the gentle side with the temperature and baking power but first time I suggest to watch them carefully not to burn. Afterwards got them out and try one to make sure they are baked - this one won't taste well - if they are let them sit for 30 minutes and then give it another try. This way I cook them and trust me, they are very tasty; wife still thinks they are not well done, but who am I to say otherwise?

Fresh and delicious!
These were just about the best raw peanuts I've ever eaten. Only downside: they are addictive. I ate handfuls at a time. I ate until my belly was full and I skipped dinner. When i received them I put them in quart size mason jars and refrigerated them. They stayed fresh and crisp to the last peanut. I've added them to my subscribe and save and am eagerly waiting for the next shipment. If by chance they are not fresh when they arrive, I will call Amazon and let them know. They will immediately send another package. I ordered Brazil nuts once that arrived 'mealy' and almost rancid. I was given a refund immediately. That's why I felt confident ordering this brand from Amazon again.

Great, mostly plump peanuts. Appears ??? to be mixed with Spanish peanuts, but still very good.
On our 10th bag we did not open right away, and when we did, the bag was cleanly slit open from top to bottom! It was too late to return them or make a claim. My wife says rhey do not taste fresh, and maybe so. Somebody actually packed them knowing they were cut open. We spread them out when roasting and making peanut brittle to inspect them. Still love em 2-25-20! On our 8th batch. That's 40 pounds! Anyone interested in forming a 'peanut addiction' support group? Awesome peanut brittle! Or just roasted. Received the raw mixed redskins a couple hours ago and just finished roasting two batches; one small amount for a trial, and one larger serious, and love them! Almost impossible to find raw peanuts here, let alone my favorite old fashoned redskins. However, it appears to have Spanish peanuts in the mix! And I don't believe any store around roasts them fresh, like when I was a kid. 350 degrees for about 21 minutes, stirring them after 10 min, and again at 11min., and that should do it. Time is critical, and one minute does make a difference. Check ur oven temp. I rub a light layer of olive oil in the roasting pan, then rub the nuts around over it. Pam also works. I see no difference.

I roast them and make my own peanut butter, super easy.
Very fresh and fragrant, I’m impressed. Much better than store bought. I roast them at 300f for 20 minutes, or to taste, let them cool, put in a food processor until desired consistency, yum! The length of roasting determines the taste. I like a light roast on mine. Much better than store bought.

I bought tese thinking that i could have a nice snack and replace them from my regular raw peanuts
So. I bought tese thinking that i could have a nice snack and replace them from my regular raw peanuts.. turned out the texture that these have resembles more of something like a bean, a little bit mushy when it comes to chew them and use them as snacks... not my best desicion . On the other hand when i stir fried these or put them on the stove aling with other food i was cooking, they get areally crunchy and nice texture, they alao absorbe the flavors. Final review. Buy these guys if you would like to add them to some of your meals or to either make a salsa/dip so you cann add a mushy texture to it 😉. And overall it’s a good quality product with good nutrients

Great for Making Peanut Butter.
A few years ago I moved to a southern state. When I went to the local grocery stores I was seeing prices of $5-6 for a jar of peanut butter when for years I had been buying unblanched peanut butter for only $2.29 up north. So I decided to try making my own. At first I bought raw peanuts in the shell at the grocery store. It was a lot of work shelling the peanuts and still kind of expensive. So I checked Amazon and found I could save money by buying ten pounds of shelled raw peanuts at a time. I roast these for twenty minutes in the oven at 350 degrees, let them cool a bit, and then put them in the blender. Every bit as good as or better than store bought and the oil never separates as long as you keep it in the refrigerator. A jar of peanut butter lasts me about three weeks and is much less expensive than buying peanut butter in the south where they grow the peanuts.
