iRobot Roomba 614 Robot Vacuum (Renewed)

I have been wanting a roomba for a few years now and only recently made it a budget priority. I run it every day and it picks up sooo much! Even on days when I feel like my floor looks clean it will pick up a lot. We have a 90 pound lab who sheds ALOT and this thing keeps up to the task. I don't run it at night because it does get stuck a few places like the leg of our poang. The back roller will push enough to get it perched over but not enough to push it completely over the leg. There has been a couple times where it will run out of battery and just stop as opposed to getting low and redocking but I partly blame myself for not letting it "know" my house. Our home is 2500 square feet one level but with kids etc, sometimes I only want one room done so I make barriers. Because of this it has not memorized my home but I am fine with that. I pretty much lock it in a room for 30 minutes. I wish it went in a more organized fashion since it seems to be all over the place but overall it still does the job. It IS loud. It doesn't bother me since I have 3 girls but my girls hate it on if they want to watch a show etc. It is super easy to clean and charges quickly. The receptacle is large but I find myself emptying it often from shear curiosity. It shows dust easily because it's black. Highly highly recommended. I can't believe I waited so long to buy one.

I got this refurbished one and it still works great. I found watching it work was bit frustrating because it passes or goes around items that I just want it to pick up and it doesn't. So I turn it on and leave it to do its thing. When I come back, the floor looks great and all little bits are bits are picked. It's great for cat hair and helps me maintain a neat floor until I can get to it to really vacuum or sweep. I empty it often and clean the wheels and brush and as long as you keep the moving parts free of debris and lots of hair, it will work. I recommend this for sure. And if you have pets, even more so.

It’s good for daily cleaning when I don’t have time but our battery life display is constantly low and it dies quickly, but I did get it refurbished.

I really like my Roomba. I just sit it out and turn it on. Mine does not "map" my floors, so I just Roomba one room at a time. It will clean 1600 sq ft,on one charge, maybe more. I would give it 5 stars, but twice it has just stopped for no apparent reason. It restarted with a touch of the go button. Very pleased.

Love it! Only had it a few weeks but am sold. It’s very easy to use, plug and play with a little extra cleaning of dust and hair from the machine the first few runs. In future I may buy another with more suction but this is great for now. When I upgrade, I’ll donate this one to the church to vacuum between the pews. Would be perfect for that job. Impressed with how it cleans carefully around edges, gentle on furniture for the most part.

This device is quite dumb. I constantly have to rescued it. It gets caught on or stuck on lots of furniture and then just stops working. It also will clean the same area over and over again and not other areas. It constantly vacuums my closet. If I have to following it around rescuing it and moving it, it kinda defeats the purpose of getting a robot vacuum. It also gets clogged with pet hair pretty easily. I have to clean the wheels or brushes often. Skip it.

I have wooden floors. It picks up the dust, etc. It frees up my time to do a lot of other things. It does a great job.

I really like the vacuum and it works well, but it was advertised as renewed to "look and work like new" and it was not so I gave it only 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. The packaging was fine and contained all of the parts and documentation, but when I opened the box it looked as if the unit had been used for months and not cleaned at all (gross). It had hairballs wrapped around the beater and the vacuum and charging station were covered in dust and grime. I put on rubber gloves and cleaned and sanitized it, and it works really well. So if you don't mind cleaning up someone else's filth as much as I do (after paying for a "looks like new" unit), this is a good buy.
