At just over 2 kg, the piece weighs less than I was expecting. It is not bottom heavy, so if placed outside, it could easily be blown over unless secured to the ground. There is no securing method to fix it to the ground. It has a flat base and so could be glued to a surface otherwise it will need to have part of the rock base buried in cement or similar. It is 53cm high, and although tall, it does work well as an indoor sculpture. It looks impressive from every angle. The modelling on the feathers is very sharp and detailed. It is neatly painted. Although it has a gloss paint look when viewed close up, the finish looks right when viewed from a distance and is impressive. The base 'rock' has a moss-like green flocking in the recesses which is visually effective. I don't know how well this flocking will withstand outdoor weathering. I'm very pleased with this statue. It is nicely modelled with good detail and looks impressive from every angle. In the garden I’ve noticed that it has kept off cats and hushed the starlings.

Excellent, lifelike design, combined with relatively light weight and bright colours makes this a perfect addition to the garden. Or even the home!!! In our kitchen, the eagle has pride of place, casting his,baleful stare over all comers. This works just as well.indoors,if not better. Great item! Worth buying.

This is a beautiful Bald Eagle - the attention to detail, paintwork and feel of it is top notch. It feels warm to the touch and is altogether precious. I have it in my garden, and everyone that sees it falls in love with it. It is very well made, and a quality piece of work - so if you like what you see and want something like this to adorn your garden or conservatory or even inside the house someplace - go for it as it is worth every penny. Suitable for inside or outside, but I have no idea about weather proofness as yet but will update.

Impressive looking ornamental figure. Looks great with height and vibrant colours in my pebbled garden area, The weight is light so the base will need some reinforcing if you are keeping outside. Excellent value and a superb conversation piece.

Ein Nachteil war, das ich für die Lieferung 9 Monate warten mußte, was nicht beim Kauf von mir vorherzuehen oder angekündigt war. Mußte auch 2x nachfragen, das war ein dicker Minuspunkt

My Eagle was delivered today. Its absolutely beautiful. Looks larger than I expected. I placed it by my flagpole that I purchased a few weeks ago and it looks fantastic.

It's so beautiful and perfect for the price. Note: It's not completely detailed with paint to add realism(the individual feathers are distinguishable and the eyes are really bright regardless), so the ~$80 price that I paid was a good range. If it was more detailed then I would expect it to cost more, so with it being as solid and detailed as it is I feel it's a really good value. I have it inside, on my china hutch. It's stately and striking, and something I recommend for the eagle lover, someone with "up north" or cabin decor, and/or patriotic type alike.
