Very easy to setup. My only wish to make this better is the ability to open and close with defusion covers in place. This could be achieved by a side zipper/opening allowing to reach in and release or set the locking gizmo. All in all still very nice....

I was really excited to get this 10 x 24 softbox for use in some of my food photography. When I opened it up my first thought was, "Wow, this is going to be perfect." When I attempted to mount it to one of my 400W strobes with a 150W modelling light I very quickly realized it would not fit with the modelling lamp installed.I read through the manual to see if it had anything to say about this limitation and I checked the Amazon listing to see if I missed anything. The Amazon listing did not mention anything about this softbox only being useful in certain Bowens mount applications. The manual did mention possible maximum heat limitations for certain lamps & softboxes but didn't list any specifics, which would have been extremely helpful.Since I bought this specifically to use with my studio strobes I really wanted to find a way to make this work without any modifications to the softbox or my strobe. I was hoping I could find a Bowens mount extension adapter but it seems such a thing does not exist. I ended up buying a Bowens Mount To Elinchrom Mount adapter and an Elinchrom Mount to Bowens Mount adaptor and using the two to make my own extension. The Elinchrom mounts ended up not staying locked together which frustrated me a bit. I soon realized I could take the two adapters completely apart with just a few screws (eliminating the Elinchrom mounts completely) and put them back together to create the Bowens mount to Bowens mount extension I originally wanted to find off the shelf. My new adapter works nearly perfectly for what I need it to do. I'm sure I'm losing some light doing this but I am able to use the softbox now. I'm hoping to modify my adapter a bit more to make the interior reflective instead of black which should help to minimize the light loss.Knowing the limitations of the mounting of this light box to my strobes I would still buy it again if I need to. It's a nice little box and stores away pretty well. It would be nice to know upfront that this box will not work in all Bowens mount applications. It would also be nice to have more information on the max. heat limitations of this softbox from the manufacturer.Beyond these minor issues I really do like this softbox and I would buy another if the need comes up. The only negative is that any strobe with a modeling lamp that extends out (like a Godox SK or DP series) will not work with the modeling lamp bulb installed, it will hit the internal softbox mechanism and prevent the unit from seating in the bowens mount. It does work with LED lights or any strobe without a modeling lamp sticking out. Works with the AD-200 in an S-bracket, but does not work with the 2 AD-200's in AD-B2 power head because the flash bulbs extend too far out and again will hit the internal plate holding the softbox together.easy to set up although it does not have a catch when it opens, it has a small screw head you have to take off and screw in to hold the unit open and hold the beauty dish on if you plan on using it. Overall a great little softbox for a single AD200 or flash unit as long as you understand the limitations and plan on using a bowens mount S-bracket.Happy shooting.

Product fell apart after 1st use! I have other Glow products that are great, but this not this one. I returned it immediately and bought something else

I was excited to move on from the Godox Soft and Strip boxes and get the Glow EZ Lock strip boxes for ease of portability. The first thing I noticed right out of the box was how small the soft box is when you unlock it. I completely misjudged the size when I ordered it. I few months ago I ordered a 12x56 Godox strip box and thought that was extremely big for my needs then I ordered the 10x24 Glow strip box thinking that would be perfect and now that seems way to small so instead of sending them back I may just follow the lead of others that posted here in the comments use this box as a back light. For fitness photography, what I am trying to get into more, I think they are too small. I am now looking at going up 2 sizes to a bigger box. It does not come with the Bowen's S-Bracket for your speed lights. You will have to purchase that separately. The box does have the Bowen's mount notches built into the back of the softbox on the speed ring for the mount adapter to attach.

Good construction, highly reflective, easy to put up and take down. It comes with two (internal and external) diffusers, a grid, and metal reflector in a well-made bag with a shoulder strap that packs up to just 17" long.However it does not come with the S-bracket shown. I don't know why the Amazon Q&A section says that it does, but I ordered three and none had an S-bracket.

There is an included 10 page manual written in reasonably correct English, but it wasn't written for this small size soft box. You can get the general info from it, but details about the reflector and it's mounting to the center pin don't match this unit, and there is no side zipper for access should you wish to install, remove or make adjustments to it. The bolt end of the pin unscrews and this bolt is all that fits through the hole in the reflector. When the bolt is tightened, there is no distance adjustment of the reflector, and accessing it is through the Velcro attached and internal snaps of the diffuser, not through a side zipper. Rotational adjustment of the Bowens Ring is completely left out of the manual too, and this one does not rotate easily. Still, I like this small soft box and plan to use it for a hair light and also possibly for clamshell lighting of some subjects.
