Took a few goes to get it right. If you're not careful and go off centres you end up straying to the side and going through the outside skin and wasting half the pineapple. Once you get this right it makes cutting up a pineapple easy as, minimal mess or skin in the final edible part. Have found cutting the bottom off so you're working on a flat bottomed pineapple that doesn't roll each time you twist the cutter deeper works best. Once you remove the pineapple from the inside there's usually about half a cup of fresh juice inside that you cam drink straight from the pineapple.

Very good quality product and easy to use. A bit expensive, but I think it is well-made; though on the big side, so will only work for big pineapples 🍍 . Requires minimal effort as well. I love pineapples, so this comes in very handy.
