This is a really nicely made set. It reminds me of the old sturdy toys I grew up with, minus the lead paint hopefully 😅. The blocks are all finely carved, sanded soft and brightly painted. This set really lets kids use their imagination. We’re using this set as a reward for our daughter completing a goal. I really like that each piece has its own place in the case and you can know if a piece is missing. Despite being made of wood, it’s not super heavy and I wouldn’t worry about any little ones getting hurt if they stack this up high and it falls on them. It allows for a lot of creativity and I hear her playing with it every morning since she’s gotten it. I think it’s great value, you don’t really see durable toys like this very often anymore.

I received this wooding building block set from MOD Complete. It comes with 72 pcs, a tray to sit in and the blocks are all colorful. The instruction state that this helps children match each block to the tray in designated spots. I like the sizing of the blocks because they fit perfectly in their hands. I really like the colors they chose for the blocks. They're like a soft pastel color. The quality seems really good and the wood seems of higher quality than others available on the market. Overall, this set helps children clean up, recognize their shapes and colors as well as keeping their screen time down. It also helps spark their creativity and imagination. Our nephew who is 7 enjoyed playing with this set when he visited us. I feel like this product is a good value compared to others on the market. Especially the since the tray is also made of wood.

I'm a Mom of five kids, with several that really enjoy building and make believe play. I thought these blocks would be another great opened ended toy to add to their collection. What I like about the set: - It comes with a great variety of colors and shapes. - The wooden blocks are painted in a non toxic paint that is safe for children. - The bottom of the holding tray is designed so that kids can match each block to it's precise spot in order for all the blocks to fit properly. This makes clean up more fun and storage more convenient. - The smaller size of the blocks is a great size for little hands to hold and stack. - They seem to be well made and should hold up well to continued play. Overall this set is a great option. The price is reasonable and it would make a great gift for young children.

These are close to the beloved blocks of my youth, although smaller. The longest block is only about 3-1/2 inches. There are 72 blocks here. The blocks have rounded edges, natural wood and pastel colors, and are very smooth without burrs. There is a nice assortment of shapes ranging from cubes, half-circles, squares, cylinders, triangles, arches and rectangles (as pictured on the site by the # of each provided). Experts can go on and on about the benefits about playing with blocks but even a non-expert can tell that they help kids develop skills related to planning and problem-solving, math, fine motor, creativity, cooperation and more. They are the type of open ended toys that I love for my grandchildren - they’re educational and just plain fun. The blocks come with an open wooden box to store them in (about 12-3/4 x 11-3/4 x 1-1/2 inches). The bottom of the box is designed to show all the shapes of the blocks so you can put them away like a puzzle. I don’t have the patience to do this myself so I will most likely put them in a bin. Still, putting them in the box is a good learning activity itself. Some of the blocks seemed pretty small but did not go all the way in my “Safety First Small Object Choking Tester” tube so I feel a little better about the kids playing with them but will still keep a close watch. Again, I am not an expert so rely on your own precautions. Not for kids less than two per the guidelines on the box. As far as the value of this set - these are good quality, but there are other similar wooden blocks sets with good reviews with the same or more blocks at the same or lesser price. Since things often go on sale or have coupons, I suggest comparison shopping to see what current deals are available.

These are bright and colorful, and well made blocks. I think blocks were one of my earliest toys as a child, and these are for our grandson. The blocks themselves are solid and well finished. The colors are bright and the paint is smooth. They come in all different sizes and shapes - squares, triangles, cylinders, etc. All of the flat surfaces stack easily. They come in a wooded flat that is used to store them, and I think the most mindful part of this is the block map etched into the bottom so you can easily identify exactly where each one goes back to they all fit. While it's a huge convenience for storage, it also doubles as a learning tool for young minds. Kind of brilliant! These are a good value for the cost.
