The syringes have female luer-lock threads to make very secure connections with needles, IV lines or other connections. I find syringes very functional. As long as it isn’t for medical uses, they are durable and can definitely be reused many times. Most of the time I used them to store fountain pen ink in vials and filling pens. They are also useful for oiling mechanical parts and sewing machines. I even use them in the kitchen for measuring and dispensing various liquids. They are easy to use, not too stiff, nor to easy, making the syringes very controllable. The caps are a great feature, preventing leakage prior to cleaning the syringes.
