This is my second dash cam. I had a Soliom G1 380 dashcam, which was a hit or miss when it comes to recording. This dashcam is excellent and serves my need. What I liked - Super capacitor based design. No Lithium battery. So no need to worry about exposure to hot sun. - The image quality is good for it's cost. - Budget camera - Browse the video files and download using wifi connectivity. Very handy in emergency situations. - The camera beeps continuously if you insert unsupported SD card, or if there is an SD card error. This is a very good feature because there won't be any surprises in case of eventuality! ( I have seen some users saying they failed to see the recorded files) - IOS app is seemless and works fine. - Forum support and various combination of firmware available. For example there is a firmware to keep the wifi default ON and there is another firmware to keep the Wifi default OFF. Well thought by the product designer. - Nice and loud Voice prompts. - Long power cable and sufficient hooks with 3M adhesives are provided. - Cute and sturdy design. - Easy to install. What I did not like. - Just a minor one. If you forget wifi password, to set it to default you need a special firmware. This can be downloaded from product website. However this could be a problem for a common man who owns no computer. Instead a reset button could have been provided. Overall this dashcam is a value for money. Go for it. Note: Use a good quality <64GB SD card.

If you are looking for a non screen cam. Then this is the product for you. Pros: * very nice and clear video quality. Doesnt take much windscreen space. * Auto loop. which helps deleting old file and record the new event. * you may use a power bank to record the events. This helps when ur car is parked and helps to know who puts a scratch on ur car :-) a 10000 mah power bank can give whole 2 days recording, * The charger wire is long enough and the tools given to set the wire and the device in the car is great. * The cam gives a voice confirmation on recording. which is cool. * wifi is fast. in case of any mishap, you may link it with your phone and can see the recording instantly or just can plug in the micro sd and view the recording * The charger also have a separate usb port, so you may use the same for charging your phone as well. Cons: * wifi is not internet based. its device to phone only. i.e u can't access the video when you are far from the car through phone. * sometimes connectivity / linking with phone to view recording takes time. so one star less for that * little heating at the side of the cam. * audio recording is bad. SD card: Am using Samsung evo grade 10 (1) 32 gb.

Bought this product after reading a lot of local and international reviews and after watching a lot many YouTube videos. And I am very happy with the purchase. The product itself is tiny. Fits ergonomically behind rear view mirror. Installation very easy. All installation components supplied with the product. Sd card to be purchased separately. Installation it and forget. Wifi enabled. App available on play store to connect with the device. Do remember to format the sd card with FAT file system or it won't work. Impact sensor has 3 settings. For Indian roads set it to low otherwise every pothole will be detected as an impact. True 1080p. Checked on pc. Night video very clear. Excellent support from seller in giving updates on transit and delivery. It takes some time to deliver as it is shipped internationally but it's worth the wait. For parking mode you need to purchase a separate power bank. I chose a lithium polymer cell powerbank due to added safety measures as compared to a lithium ion powerbank. Manual locking of videos is very easy by pressing the side button. Even today (1month after installation) I received an email from the seller asking if the product was functioning properly and take a general feedback. Very happy

I am using this product for the last one month. I changed the 1 min loop recording (by default) to 3 min. The camera captured 6 hours long trip and the files also got created. I removed the 64GB (Formatted with the FAT32 file system as per the user guide) MicroSD card (When the camera was off as per the user guide) and trying to view the recording. But 40% of files are not playable and 60% of files are playable on the laptop/pc. Not sure why. Will try to reach out the customer support and see. Customer support responded quickly and I tried few steps as per their suggestion but it did not help at all. here are my observations after 60 days of usage of this product. 1. The camera records up to 4 and half hours of videos correctly and after that, it creates corrupted files which are NOT playable. 2. Camere gets heated during operation (even though AC is ON in your car) 3. Quality of the video is good 4. Not suitable for long drives (more than 4 and half hours) Regards

I expected better product based on the reviews.: Cons: 1. There is no quality to the app that is to be used with this product. The app standard is not acceptable. 2. Videos do not download on the app from the dashcam. It fails and that too very very slow. 3. Can read number plates only if the vehicle is very slow. Else in the normal footage cannot read. 4. When doing live view on the app. There is a lag. 5. Placement of the memory card is odd if you need to remove it frequently. Because you cannot download the videos on the app (it fails) Pros: 1. It is good only capture footage of the drive. Do not expect details like the number plates. Would have been happy to return if there was a return policy.

The camera is small, stealthy, handy and really easy to use. it records images in high quality and has the option of reducing/adjusting the image quality to save up on the memory card space. the camera will record the video in batches of a certain size and is is also smart enough to separate the routine recording from clips which it thinks are "incidents" (notice this when you connecy the memory card to ur laptop). Night or day the camera will just sit there in it's place and do its job very very nicely. The sales team is extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you r totally satisfied with the product. I am very much satisfied with the purchase and would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a good, stealthy and value for money dashboard camera.

Positives - Compact design, easy self installation capability, easily detachable from the mount, very legible number plates at close range, wifi facility for connecting to mobile devices, value for money, uses super capacitor, button for easy saving a capture during an emergency, satisfactory quality night time recording. Negatives - Will connect only with older versions of Iphone (6 or 6s and below I believe), number plates not legible after one car length (based on my experience), average quality videos in dusk and dawn, getting better in well lit conditions. Tip: make sure u get a speed class 10 rated SD card. I got a Samsung evo UHS 3 card. It will keep giving card low speed error and stop recording. Power reset will solve the issue for a while. But u might face this error during a critical event. I later brought a san disk class -10, 64 gigs. Running ok for the moment.

I am in the field job and most of the times remains on the road so safety is my priority and thus wanted to install one Dash cam with following criteria in my mind… · It should be cheap · Should be without screen · Should have loop recording function · Able to record in HD · Have option of SD-Card · Access to data should be at my finger-tips(in emergency) · Should be light weight · Should start automatically · And most importantly.. brand does not matter if it solves my purpose · Can save emergency videos . Keeping above things in my mind,I search entire world of internet for almost a month then decided to go for Blueskysea after reading the reviews from many owners… Though price was bit higher but I stretched myself after seeing the reviews about the retailer after sales service(BAIKLOV-IN).I ordered it on 10th June and received it on 18th June although the time slot was around 25th June but it was delivered earlier than that and I am happy it was worth the wait. The device itself is very tiny and after taking it in hand one is not sure that will it solve the purpose but believe me. Its wonderful device with features like · SD Card Support(upto 64GB) · G-Sensor · Loop Recording · Built in Wifi Hotspot to access media anytime · Very easy to use Android app with easy Graphical User Interface Device comes with all dual sided adhesive tapes of 3M along with some spare tapes also and tools to install(hide) the wire on the roof of the car. The length of the supply cable is far more than required(almost 3 meters). I was surprised to see even those tiny “Wire holders” with “adhesive” to keep the wire completely invisible inside the car. The charger has extra USB port which is not “Fast Charging” port but atleast this will charge your device on the run.Although I bought one separate USB cable of 3 meter length which I am using with a USB fast charger having 2 ports already so as I can use spare fast charging port to charge my mobile always. Installing the device is an easy task and does not require any specialization to do the job. I have installed it in the centre of the front windshield ,exactly at the back of Rear View Mirror so its almost invisible. Will recommend to install the Android app first on your mobile before sticking the camera on the windshield so as you can actually check the view in the mobile screen to get the proper view and angle during recording. Download the app “Blueskysea” from play store and put your phone’s wi-fi on and search for wi-fi signal (blueskysea) and connect phone to this wi-fi. If the need be put password as 123456789. Once phone is connected, open the app and press “connect” button… The app is then connected to the camera and you can see the live screen and this stage recording will be stopped. The applications will be having two options.. Local files and Media… Any Media which is stored in the memory card of the camera can be downloaded to the local media and this local media can be accessed without connecting to camera later and can be shared too…. Device has inbuilt mic also which can be truned On/Off from the app. NOTE: Some people are saying we need to use only Samsung Card of Class 10 but that’s not true. I am using Sandisk Card of 64GB but it created problem initially as it was not getting detected so first I formatted it via computer in FAT32 format and secondly after installing it in camera I again re-formatted it via Bluskysea android app(Option of formatting in menu) and its working perfectly since then. The images are true HD and are of good quality.Number plates are visible during recordings on the roads of other vehicles. The best part of this camera is “Audio commands” which ensures that device is working perfectly all the time. Once camera gets the power first sound comes is a “Beep” which ensures about Power supply to the camera.. second comes as “SD Card Detected” and third sound comes as “Recording Started”… during recording light of the camera also blinks which ensures perfect working of the device. Now using this device since 1 week and quite satisfied with its performance. I will suggest.. if you have budget… just go for this device blindly … Have any questions… put it to me..
