Ive only ever had those cheep resistance bands with a handle on eather side. This is thick AF and offers tons of resistance. We bought the blue 110lb-120lb band. I weigh about 184lbs just under 13stonne and its gives me quite a bit of support while doing a pull up while still engaging all my back muscles. So i should imagine it would offer my girlfriend the extra support she needs to start preforming pull ups.
