A must for family gatherings

Jacques Pépin is one of my favorite chefs and television personalities and since I got to spend an evening with him in person I adore him even more so purchasing this beautiful book illustrated by him was a must. I've since purchased it to gift as well. It's perfect for Jacques fans or anyone that loves to cook, entertain, or appreciates art.

It is a great large size and the quality of the cover and paper is lovely. The illustrations are beautiful. Although it was packed well, the spine and front corner of the book was damaged.

What a charming, attractive book. Beautiful paintings. I lack the artistic talent to paint my own menus, but this is the next best thing. I often entertain - filling out these page and having my guests sign it has fast become a favorite tradition. I look forward to filling the book up and will soon have to invest in a second volume!
