I finally tossed the module in the recycling bin and uninstalled the app after countless failed attempts to simply read engine fault codes. Fist of all, the app has an option to automatically detect the VIN number from the ECU. This function never worked and I had to enter it manually. From there, every time I tried to navigate to read engine codes, the app takes an entire lifetime to get to the next menu. I hope anyone using this product is working hourly, you’ll make a ton of money just navigating the software! Finally, every time I selected the option to read fault codes, the app returned an error along the lines of “lost connection.” The generic corded scan tool at AutoZone works better than this.
