Smooth taste.

We need a medium roast for our super-automatic espresso machine and this meets the bill. other med roast beans are too oily and jam up the machine but this one is just right. Makes a very good coffee w/ good flavor and body. Chose this over others mainly for the price but the quality does not disappoint.

Beans make a coffee full have flavor. Beans are fresh not dried out.

Excellent specialty coffee, very delicious.

Rather particular about my coffee, this is $ well spent imo (Brazilian santos)

UPDATE: I received a response from the Olde Brooklyn Coffee and they explained that the packing of the coffee for shipping is done by Amazon. They also offered to make things correct and I am grateful for that. I lived in Brazil and appreciate coffee from there. This roast is spot on for morning coffee that is distinct from the cafezinho that is akin to an afternoon espresso. Thanks to Emily at OBCC. Received coffee this afternoon. I love the flavor, and am upset that this is the second time I have received a package that was open. The beans had spilled some inside the Amazon shipping bag. I emailed the company previously and never heard back from them. Unfortunately I have probably ordered my last coffee from the Brooklyn Coffee Company.

This is what I'll describe as a very robust flavor. I go a bit lighter on the amount I grind per cup. With a less amount, I feel I get the more, what I'll comment as fruitier essence in that flavor. I only fresh gear grind prior to brewing in a Stainless Steel French Press with moderately hot water, steeped for approximately 90 secs. The worse that can happen is (too hot, too long a steep) is it's simply a strong flavor, imo. I took to blending it, even, with other I had around, and that worked out well as 50/50 in the grind. Taste, like music, if very subjective. If you are a careful brewer or like a stronger flavor but not burnt, you may enjoy this. I hope that helps. Again, if nothing else, -- not a bad try if then blend it until finished.
