This shampoo works so well I only had to wash my hair once and it doesn’t dry it out. The smell is AMAZING!

As somebody that has very long, thick course curly hair when you research the curly girl method they always suggest washing your hair twice. This shampoo came highly recommended. As when you wash your hair with it. The slip in this shampoo is great. you don’t feel like you’re fighting your hair with a rake and comb Less hair is lost and your fingers easily slide through your hair. You can use this for a main wash or a pre-wash the smell is fantastic and the price is great. I do think that the pump on this could be a little bit better. It’s very hard to get the product out and very little comes out out of the pump out of time, but otherwise the product is absolutely great. It’s frizz reducing and very hydrating.

Smells good, doesn’t strip my daughters hair, good for her curls. Natural ingredients.

Great product for my daughter. I have chronic migraine so it is slightly strong for me personally, but most people don't have that issue like me and shouldn't be bothered at all by the smell. On my good days it smells great! Great for keeping knots out of hair too.

Makes hair smooth and silky.

I’ve tried so many products for our toddler. Nothing seems to give enough moisture. A friend recommended this line for doing his twists. So I purchased the shampoo, conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and the coil custard. (Soufflé hasn’t arrived yet) First, it smells great. Other reviews said it was too strong but I don’t think it is. Second, all the ingredients are allergy friendly and safe for our little guy. (I was very careful not to get it near his face, so I can’t speak to how gentle it is for eyes….but I’m assuming that’s common sense). The wash was good. The detangling conditioner provided better slip than other products I’ve used. Once I started to rinse the conditioner out I noticed how wet his hair still looked. Normally, once you rinse him, his hair drops the water very quickly. But this is the point I noticed how well his hair absorbed this conditioner. His hair actually laid down with little waves for about a minute. After that, I generously applied the leave-in. This left his hair able to stay damp while I put on his lotion and got him dressed. Normally his hair would be totally dry at this point and I’d have to mist him down to do his hair. (Even with using a ton of leave-in from other lines) I was hoping the Twisting Soufflé would arrive with the other products, but it hasn’t yet. So I went ahead and did his little twists with only the coil custard tonight. I’m very happy I ordered this for his type 4 hair. (2 different curl patterns). I spent a decent amount on Carols Daughters but the cream just sat on the hair and didn’t soak in and the milk just doesn’t give enough moisture. (We’ve also tried 3 other higher end lines that are safe for kids and his hair just wasn’t having it.) So we were struggling to keep the hair of an active toddler moisturized. But I think we finally found a winner! I can’t wait to see how he looks in the morning when his silk cap comes off.

Shampoo and conditioner are great. It does have a strong scent, so keep that in mind if you're sensitive to scents. I have natural straight hair and this shampoo leaves my hair soft, shiny, and the conditioner doesn't weigh it down. I don't know why, but it works better than other shampoos/conditioners. My issue is the pump. It's hard and it doesn't pop back up. I have to pull the pump and then press down to get product out.

I have Type 4 curly hair which is prone to breakage, very dry (itchy scalp) as well as having dandruff. This shampoo has really helped my scalp and dandruff (way more than any other shampoo on the market). I use the Mielle Mint Oil when I feel my scalp needs it and I would never be without the Mielle conditioners as I have seen a massive improvement in the condition of my curls, they are actually shiny. Highly recommend this brand.
