Try the Clarks Cloudsteppers that look like this style. I think they’re called Sicilian Paz, but I threw the box away. They have better insoles than these do. And the material is moisture wicking, more breathable, and has some give and stretch if your feet are like mine, and can swell on a long day. I work in retail. I stand or walk 8-10 hours a day in those shoes. I can say the only thing that doesn’t hurt at the end of the day are my feet. I go through a pair of these about every six months wearing them 5 days a week, but the money is worth it to have comfortable shoes. I keep the old pairs as backup. The insoles are removable and can be washed in a bra bag if your work shoes get smelly. I just love them, I also got the Cloudsteppers sandal style to wear during the summer. They are still closed toed, so they protect my toes and fit the dress code at work. But order half a size up in those because the top straps are elastic and can pinch. You can spray waterproofing treatment (Kiwi makes one and it’s sold by the shoe polish) on the tops only to make them waterproof if that is an issue at work. The bottoms aren’t as slip proof as restaurant shoes, but in 4 years, I’ve only slipped in them once. I only wish they had toe protection, but I don’t think Clark’s intended them to be -those- kind of work shoes. I love my Clark’s Cloudsteppers! Hope that helps!

Yes. I winter in Florida and I just wore them the other day without socks. Probably better with jeans or capris than shorts.
