Good little duplexer
Good little duplexer! I'm using it for a low-power mobile repeater, and it's working fine. Initial tuning out of the box was garbage (like only a -60 dB notch on the low side, though a -100 dB notch on the high side), but that didn't matter because I was going to tune it myself anyway. Tuning was straightforward with my HP 8714ES VNA, if a bit touchy. Breathe on the tuning screws while the jam nuts were loose and the null would shift a hundred kHz. Took a while to get it dialed in, and it was a challenge to tighten down the jam nuts without moving the notch, but again, there weren't any real surprises. All pretty standard stuff. See the attached photos for the post-tuning transmission as measurement by my VNA. Managed about a 90 dB notch and about a 1.5 dB insertion loss on both legs. Construction seems nice and solid.

Great product for the cost!!!
This unit is great for the cost. I’ve had this up against other (top brand) duplexers and it surprisingly performed better. I’ve had two up on active repeater sites, one tuned to the specific GMRS frequency and one other thrown right up on a site out of the box. I highly recommend getting it checked/tuned, but have confidence you can throw this thing on a GMRS repeater and go. BEWARE: I’VE HAD THE 30w VERSION AND IT HAD HORRIBLE ISOLATION AND INSERTION LOSS. REMEMBER NOT TO PUSH THEM TOO HARD AND THEY'LL PERFORM GREAT!

Junk
Mine was practically unusable out of the box on the tuner it did great but it passed so much noise I could not use it

Was great.....
I purchased this for a dual KG-1000G setup. I used a vna and tuned to perfection. Was very amazed at initial performance. Over the winter it degraded considerably however. The great guys at buytwowayradios explained the poor performance was probably due to the high static voltage (I never knew) breakdown of the Teflon spacers and there really isn't a fix. I guess it's a common issue with initial performance going downhill on these. Bummer, price was right, worked superbly initially. You be the judge. Update: Dave at bytwowayradios was correct in his assumption. The insulators (2) did have burn holes in the Teflon as he explained in his duplexer YouTube video. It appears to be a common problem on this style, regardless of brand. The mfg distributor plans to provide some relief towards a new one, however if the Teflon bushings could be purchased, it could be easily repaired. Unfortunately not available. Fyi I'm running full 50w radios

Good quality at this price range.
So far so good, I have seen reviews that have not been very positive but during testing I have found that the one I have received works very well right out of the box. I am using a Ra87 repeater setup and the SWR is coming in at 1.02 on the low end and 1.05 on the high end and the 40 watt radio is coming out of the duplexer at 24 watts, so I am very happy with the one I received, I am about to purchase the 30 watt version to use with a bug out five watt hand held repeater setup. I would recommend at least giving them a try especially if you are on a tight budget.

Insertion loss is incredible
Although the notch may be tuned to acceptable levels. The pass and is also tuned well within the notch making insertion loss at around -5db. After tuning myself, I got the Duplexer will within tolerable specs. Go with a Duplexer that has been tuned to your specific frequencies.

Well tuned
Unit came well tuned to GMRS with the diplexer able to cover all frequencies and separate the high/low by more than 30dB isolation as delivered. May be able to improve from there for a specific freq pair if desired as the curves showed a local null could be found but to cover all freq pairs this well out of the box is great.

Good for mobile use. Not meant for high interference locations. It has band reject tuning only. Serves me well.

Very good item. Just wish they didn't leave it on the front door anybody could have picked it up as it was very expensive. And was instructions to leave it in a different place
