**Q: Would this be helpful for kindergarten?**
A: Only the first few pages.  Problem with all these books is they really don't know how to teach this.  I have 3 different books and they are all garbage.  They go from super easy to suddenly very hard with no instructions as to how to arrive at the solutions for the hard problems.

**Q: What year was it published?**
A: The book was originally published in 2010. I cannot confirm whether the offer I have is a First Edition or a later printing, as I have already sent the book in to Amazon for fulfillment.
