This cable is perfect for the Matronics Dolphin M200 Pool Robot. Although it is easy to install, you will need additional floats to help keep the robot flat on the bottom of the pool. I recommend that you remove the floats from the old cable and reuse them. You will need patience and care to make sure that the floats to not crack; however, the savings will be a nice reward. My original cable started disintegrating and splitting after about 5 years. I am hoping that this one will last longer. In an effort to increase its longevity, I am hosing the cable off with clear tap water, after every use. I also bought a cover for when the robot is out of the pool, in order to block sunlight.

I had to replace my original power cord after it chipped off the lines from the center console. This replacement for it has been amazing. It has upheld several hours in the pool constantly. Installation of the item was a little bit of a pain, but fit perfectly; after I had to disconnect and take off most of the parts just to get it to replace. The buoys were all extremely difficult to transfer from the old power cord to the new one. Be careful not to pry too hard to break any of the pieces. Overall the quality of the product worked for what I need it to and was a good replacement of the original power cord.

It's working great but from my experience the part that goes bad is the white connection that allows the cord to not tangle in the water. When you take the cleaner out do not pull on the cord. I use our pool pole to pull it out. It will last much longer.

Note that the cable floats are sold separately. As many people here suggested, you can remove the floats from the original cable. I had a hard time getting the floats off the original. The cable swivel is threaded, comes apart. I kept the the original cable stub the runs from the unit to the swivel and attached the new cable to the end of the original swivel end, thus avoiding the need to remove the floats altogether. This also avoids disassembly of the pool cleaner. ;-) By the way the component that fails is typically not cable itself, but inside the swivel on the long cable end. Over time the circular pads from the long side of the cable corrodes and the copper lining strips off. For reference, the Maytronics float part # is 99960081 - uses two.

I thought that will fix the cleaner because the old was weathered but it didn’t. Waste of money.

Update after one year: - cable deteriorated such that the rubber jacket/coating rubs off by hand (and leaves a mess all over the pool) - a kink developed in the middle (anti-kink swivel eh???) such that the rubber jacket is compromised and exposed the internal wires - the buoyancy issues below persisted - the unit will no longer run Takeaway: never buy Maytronics products. Please be cautious buying this for a Dolphin CC Plus. Even though it is listed as compatible and the service team suggests the part number is correct, IT COMES WITH AN INCORRECT CABLE FLOAT. I installed this as directed by Nautilus, and watched the vacuum constantly flip over and get stuck like a turtle on its back. Look closely at the photos…the original cable has two larger floats clamped to it. This replacement cable (shown installed) has just one smaller float. Thus the buoyancy of the vacuum is impacted because the cable effectively tugs on the vacuum more. Completely useless. 1/5 stars for not providing the correct product even despite its listed compatibility, and 1/5 stars for the service team’s lack of support in correcting the issue. Will likely not buy another Nautilus product once this vacuum fails.
