KeyLok Base Units (pairs) for Attaching/Detaching KeyLok Ladder Levelers (NOT Included)

Installation was easy. Some measurement, drilling, assembly required but easy enough. It’s additional weight, but it’s at the bottom of the ladder at least and the stationary portion only is not heavy at all. I used it with a 24ft ladder on about 30 degree sloped ground to paint the gable end, full extension was needed. Sturdy as on level ground and the ladder foot is now two inches wider with the added foot. Releasing the extension takes a little getting used to with first pushing down and then slowly raising the foot to get it back in home position without the footrest springing up against your leg. No big issue. Releasing the add on from the ladder and moving it to another ladder is a snap. Much easier than I expected. This is a quality accessory that I wish I had had earlier.

These are the greatest things for ladder safety ever made. Just make sure you buy a pogo stick for them. I put them on all my extension ladders. These are easily installed and you can quickly click on the leveler(sold separately) for the best ever ladder leveling!

Great addition to extension ladders. Strait forward installation goes quickly.

I would give this product five stars but when they recommend using a very thin foam sticky tape to put under the unit on top of the base unit to keep it from moving and making it more stable there's something wrong with that solution. I do not expect the tape to last more than a few times before it has to be replaced

The Levelers were easy to install and are easy to use. I had already installed a set that came with the actual leveler in a kit so I had watched the YouTube video and made notes on the measurements so this install went very smooth. I highly recommend viewing the video before attempting the installation. As with the original hit, the installation requires use of super glue (supplied) for spacers to account for where the brackets cover where the steps come through the ladder sides. My complaint is that the tube supplied is wrapped in plastic and in both installations the tube was disformed causing it to leak out on my fingers. I did learn that Vaseline will help remove it but it takes some work.

Previous purchased and installed a levelok system on an extension ladder I have. Wanted one for a second ladder and didn't want to spend the extra money on a second adjustable leg at this time. glad there were these base units only available to save about $100. Installed this unit on a Werner MT-26 ladder with no issues, but I had previous experience. The directions in the box were not as descriptive as those that came my unit with the adjustable leg. Glad I kept the other set of directions for greater details/pictures, but you could also find them online. Make sure to measure the width of the side rails when finding the vertical centerlines, my rails were wider than pictured and didn't match the instruction dimensions. Very pleased so far, waiting for a project to use my ladder on to try it out.

I have had a need for this product for 30 years, as soon as I attached it the my ladder, I set it up and I couldn't believe how great it is, I couldn't be happier, I should have bought this years ago. these levelers are really well built, gf

Cheap & small

I added this to my second shower ladder so I can use my Featherlite Levelok Leveler kit and it works great! A must-have to level securely and efficiently any ladder. I do recommend this product!
