I've used this product for a while and am very happy. That said, now that my hair is grey I need to insure that it's well that I check there are no orange patches

Tbh I was looking for a carrot oil and bought this by mistake but I really like it in moisturiser form. Works well, distributes into hair nicely and keeps it moisturised pretty good. I use this a lot in my Sons LCO method.

This is an excellent moisturizer helps with softness, sheen and growth of hair will be buying more as soon as the one I have finishes.

This is a second purchase for me. Pleased with the product as it keeps my scalp oiled without clogging my scalp. Very cost effective, especially given it's larger than normal size. Great scalp treatment and beneficial to hair strength.

This product is really good, was worried about smell but smells great.

My Hairdresser used this product in my hair when i went to her to fix my damages and my hair has been healthy ever since. so I sought to get this product myself, i have relaxed hair that is usually dry and brittle, this product is light weight and provides moisture and shine ..which is exactly what my hair needed. i am happy i purchased it .

I was about to go by the reviews I read, but I didn’t about the smell. It really untangles your hair & gives it strength!

My mother hates makeup, doesn't know anything about skincare, and I couldn't even convince this woman to wear a facial sunscreen when she worked outside. She also has locs because she felt they'd be a lower maintenance style for her. And the ONLY beauty product I have ever seen her buy, and actively express a desire to have, was the Hollywood Beauty Carrot Cream. I got this, and initially she was annoyed this was the carrot *lotion* and not the same cream she would use, even though I assured her the formula was still thick and penetrating. She has decided to take it, and I just want to say, all that being said about my mom (and she did have extremely healthy waist length locs for many years, they had to be cut off because they caused her neck pain) I don't know a woman in the world who could possibly be less interested in using beauty products. And that woman exclusively requests Hollywood Beauty Carrot products. So I think that speaks to how good of a product this must this must be. I wear protective styles so I tried it for myself, but i have thinner, finer hair than my mother, and I felt like in my case it made my hair too heavy and greasy looking. It was very obvious I had product in my hair if I hadn't braided it yet, but it doesn't have the benefit of being glossy or anything that other haircare products offer as a feature normally when the product may more "sit" on the hair. I can definitely see the benefit of using them on styles like locs and braids for coarse hair types because it is very conditioning. But may overpower finer or thinner hair types, mostlybdue to the formula consistency, and yes I've tried just using a minimal amount. I decided to simply move to the carrot liquid oil for my own hair. I will say since I did try the lotion, it doesn't have an *unpleasant* smell, but it has a smell that may not be for everyone. I also felt that the formula was kind of grainy? However I do have to say my first bottle had to be replaced because it had exploded inside the plastic. I did see one or two other reviews mention they love the product, but question this specific seller. Considering my previous experience I can't rule it may have separated or was improperly sealed or something, but in my case the lotion was very runny like an oil, but thick like a conditioning mask. I am not sure if that is the regular consistency of the product under those circumstances, but it definitely is a "lotion" type product.
