I write this review after read this book last year. And I think that, it can be a best choice for understand the theory pattern and also there are a lot of examples of question base on topic wise. So I suggest for beginners they can go for it. It mostly use for clg/ university exam. Not for GATE and higher level exam. thanks to Amazon it was delivered me with a good packaging,Thanks to seller also.

This book is perfect if you are a beginner/not comfortable with the subject. Almost everything is starting from the scratch, and theory is simply mind blowing. However the contrasting feature of book is it's layout and texture, which is impeccable. For cons I would say, there are some odd mistakes (expected thing from S Chand Publication), but still a very good book to build basics. PA: I Suggest people to buy both Rattan and This one, and then you can crack any exam.

Paper is not smooth.

As usual like most of sultan chand books, this book is student's learning paradise. You get pretty much of your syllabus covered(90 - 96%) to get a good understanding of machines, mechanisms and related concepts

If you are new to Theory of Machines, this book is fantastic with easy explanations. There are some minute mistakes, but overall this book is fine for the Mechanical engineering students 👍🏻The concepts are nicely depicted in colorful way with nice fonts and easy explanations
