I am in my 40's. Can someone who still uses this say it is worth the buy?

I am in my early 70’s and have used this product for a number of years. My dermatologist recommended it to me. She gave out samples when I first started seeing her. I have very few wrinkles. Many people believe I am in my 40’s. I even use Neutrogenia sunscreen. I believe this is a great product and will continue to use it.

What percentage of retinol does the product contain?

I called the company to ask that question, because I couldn't find the answer anywhere online. I was told that the percentage of retinol is "proprietary" information, i.e., a trade secret. However, other companies do offer this information. I switched to Lordsbury https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M3PSEQX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which tells you right on the bottle and the sales page that it contains 2.5% retinol. That brand was recommended by my sister, so I'm giving it a try. Neutrogena is making a mistake thinking their customers don't care about how much active ingredient is in their products.

What is the age to use it?

I am 74...have been using the Rapid Wrinkle Repair products faithfully for many years...ever since it first hit the market. (Great product for a reasonable price.) No-one believes IM pushing the 3/4 century mark as it has kept me looking in my early 60's. Blonde, fair skin....no problems. I live in SC near the ocean w/sun & salty/sandy air... tho IM not a sun worshipper.

is this gluten free as most of Neutrogena products are

I use an app called skin safe that tracks the ingredients of skin products. According to them this product is gluten free. That’s usually my first filter. I haven’t had a problem with their results yet. I haven’t actually used this product but came here to see if anyone had an experiential answer to this. The number of straight up ignorant people answering questions they know nothing about is astounding. Skin is our biggest organ. If we have allergies or celiac then yes, it is absorbed by our skin and affects our skin. It’s simple logic. Just don’t answer if you don’t know or it’s not about you and your experience. Grrr. Okay. Off my soapbox.
