Afghanistan/pakistan, Tubed: Wall Maps Countries & Regions (National Geographic Reference Map)

My son is deployed in this region with the Marines, and I purchased this map to follow where he is. I have it with two other NatGeo maps (The Middle East and Asia) up on my home-office wall. It's great to be able to just walk up to them and learn all about the countries. Had no idea Kabul is almost 6,000 ft. above sea level (higher than Denver), which explains why its 10-20 degrees cooler than the southern lowlands that are much warmer. For wall maps, I would highly recommend getting the laminated versions if possible. You just can't beat NatGeo for detailed maps. Map came rolled in a plastic tube, which was packaged well and delivered on time.

Well made. Used in shadow box and have had several comments on the quality of the map

This map was done in 2011. Certainly there must be something newer for Amazon to offer.

Arrived torn inside the plastic cover. Bummer.
