3-Piece Long Green German Embroidered Oktoberfest Dress

Such a beautiful dress. Great embroidered flowers on quality cloth. Very comfortable. This was a size 16, which I normally wear a woman size 12. I should have had this altered on the top to fit a bit better and bring in the waist, but overall this was a great buy!

This dirndl is exceptionally well-made; the material is substantial—almost heavy—and the dress is lined. I did not need to wear a slip. I deliberately chose one without the crisscross lacing on the bodice, even though I think it’s an attractive detail, because I didn’t want to call any more attention to the bust area and some reviewers commented that the lacing hooks came loose easily. The length was perfect…it fell just below the tops of my knee socks. I predict I will get years of wear from this purchase. About sizing: take your measurements and follow the manufacturer’s size chart! I’m so glad I did that and didn’t simply order according to the size I normally wear in other clothing. I typically wear a 20 in tops and an 18 in bottoms. I had to order a sizes 26, but it fit about as comfortably as possible.

I wasn't sure if it was going to fit me, I'm normally a 14/16 sometimes 18 for dresses so I ordered the size 20 and it fit great! I loved how easy it went on. REALLY and I mean, REALLY well made!!! No stray strings, no weirdly stitched pattern, no funky smell, just a really well made dress. I did order a different shirt for underneath. Nothing wrong with the original. The apron is well made too. Easy to tie, the cutouts are cute, no loose strings, no funky smell. The color of this dress is lovely, such a nice green color. Overall a wonderfully made dress. It is wrinkled when it comes out of the package but that's to be expected. I hung it in the bathroom and let hot steam loosen the fabric. I also followed the washing instructions and it does wash up nicely. Add a petticoat underneath for added poof.

Really great quality dirndl, the fabric was fantastic and it's was truly beautiful. However, I did meticulously take measurements to ensure it would fit and the size guide is off. I would size up! Also, it happened to rain at my event, and the entire thing dyed everything (my skin, the apron, my bra, underwear) blue. So be wary of that.

If you are looking for an authentic dirndl, look no further. Absolutely worth every penny. It fits like a dream and has great quality fabric. I used the size chart, which I highly recommend because it was a great tool and it worked spot on. I am 5'2'' and 160lbs and I bought a size 12. It fits perfectly and I cannot wait to wear it at Oktoberfest or literally any event. I would wear this is public anytime. It's pretty with AND without the apron. Bought this for Octoberfest in Germany. Great quality. Fit well. Very comfortable and didn’t see anyone else wearing this dress
