Chevy Corvette C4 C5 C6 Z06 Racing Lug Nuts 12x1.5 Black 20 Pieces

Put these on my C5 as I assumed not too much pressure on the lugs nuts aluminum can’t hurt. Let me tell you steer away from aluminum lug nuts. I put them on with a torque wrench as I was going to track my car the day after. I got a funny feeling deep in my gut these may not work out for me and I would regret using them. The car sat OVERNIGHT while i ordered another set of steel lugs. without the car moving a single inch I tried to take them off with an impact and they snapped off right at the end of the bolt where the acorn meets. So nothing for the socket to hang onto and still fully holding the wheel down. I have 8 out of 20 that broke off. Hammered old sockets onto the broken parts and they just strip right off. Used receivers and they rounded out since it’s such a soft metal. Air hammered 2 of them off today and almost damaged the wheel and was left with many many many little pieces of aluminum. My suggestion. Stay as far away from these as possible or you will regret it.
