These socks are incredible. So breathable. Great for 100+ degree heat when you have to wear dress pants and shirt to work. Super soft, smooth, durable, and comfy. They never get smelly because they are wool, even after 12 hour days, where my normal socks would get stinky after 5 hours.

These are great socks. They are 80% wool with cotton and poly blended in. They're think enough to fit easily into dress shoes, cozy and warm for casual wear. The 3 colors are a beautiful muted heather (gray, blue, dark brown). I'm quite surprised at the reasonable price, given the quality of these socks.

My order arrived as expected. The socks are soft and warm. Will definitely recommend these socks to anyone.

I’ve struggled to find socks with any measurable amount of wool in them until I found these. Usually a higher wool content translates to an itchier material, but not these! They are very comfortable and non-irritating. My feet have stayed dry, compared to other synthetic socks. They are fairly lightweight but have kept my feet warm in the single digit temperatures that the Midwest has had this month. I’m interested to see if they’re too warm in the summer. Only complaint I have is that they’re slightly shorter than a standard dress sock. They’ve been fine for me but just not that they might not work for some.

Very comfortable and silky

It's crazy trying to find decent socks today-- everything is POLYESTER garbage, even paying extra for cotton socks now they get holes in the sole in 5-6 months. I like wool/merino wool socks but too many wool socks on the market try to be thick/winter socks-- I was looking for more typical thickness socks, just made mostly of wool. And these fit the bill. I saw these at 80% wool/13% cotton (I think? See description) and only 7% polyester, so I was surprised at the low price... These socks are great-- certainly one of the best deals-- 6 pairs for $20. Many other wool socks cost $20 for ONE PAIR. To be clear, these are thicker than dress socks but thinner than "standard" cotton athletic socks-- they don't have extra padding/reinforcement zones on the bottom like athletic socks. But they're VERY comfortable-- they fight snugly and the "leg" is not loose or droopy--they stay fixed to your calf. But they're also not super tight/compressive like some athletic socks which can almost feel constricting. They're soft and comfortable on the foot, as well as breathable-- your feet don't just start sweating for no reason like with polyester socks. I could wear these as casual socks just for walking around/going out, and they'd be great dress socks, but I've also already worn them to the gym for lifting weights and shooting hoops, without issues thus far. I've washed them once, they held up fine in the dryer on medium heat without losing form or getting frayed etc. Again, these don't have additional padding on the heel/balls of the feet like some more robust athletic socks, so I wouldn't be surprised if more heavy athletic use would wear them down a bit quicker than desired. But you can't find ANY non-plastic socks today for $3.30/pair. Price vs quality intersection cannot be beat.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The weight of the fabric is lighter than Moreno wool socks, which is what I was looking for. I purchased a different brand on Amazon a while back and they were so-so, but I kept them. They were sufficient, but barely did they cover the ankles. The "Nine to Five Lite" sock seems to be of a slightly better quality and they are comfortable. However, once again, the ankles could be a couple of inches longer—then they would be perfect. The ankles are actually slightly shorter than the foot portion. I'm not a tall man (5' 9" or 175.3cm) so it's not as though my legs are lengthy. The footbeds aren't overly padded, which is great for wearing dress shoes, and they do make for a nice weight to utilize as dress socks. But again, the ankles are so short that when in a sitting position, there is lots of skin exposed. The weight is perfectly acceptable. If you wanted to use these as summer boot socks, the weight would be suitable, but again, too short. Don't go by the picture in the ad. These socks are a lot shorter than pictured. I will keep these and wear them in casual settings when I don't care if my ankles are exposed. But my search for the perfect, lightweight Moreno wool sock at a decent price point continues. I'm giving the sock 3 stars because the material used to manufacture the sock seems to be of fairly high quality. But the fit leaves a lot to be desired. Fit: Don't trust the ad picture.

Use these socks daily, they are comfortable, warm, snug fit and not too brief.

They're great for everyday, year-round use - not thermal. Colors are subdued for business use. Comfortable, not paper thin and not to low on the calf. I just wish they came in black.

I did not want to review these socks until they had been washed a few times to see how they turned out afterwards. I am happy to report that they wash up well and have not shrunk or pilled. These are very warm and comfortable socks for cold weather. They were an excellent price too. My only wish is that I could buy these in assorted colors.
