Very good reading
Exellent book for beginners in the subject. Easy reading, it encompasses principals issues on cost-effectiveness analysis. But I think it coud explore a little bit more markovian processes and decision trees.

In general it is a good book with a clear structure and inclusion of the most relevant topics for cost-effectiveness analysis in HC. BUT the writing style is very complicated. It is often necessary to read sentences over an over again to understand what the authors are trying to say, also the selection of words is not student friendly at all. Especially the chapter on life tables is really complicated, even though the topic in itself is not. Formulas are not explained well, which leads to scrolling back and forth and lots of googling. The accompanying webpage is also confusing and it took me a long time to find the things I was looking for if I ever found them. I basically like the book but minus 1 star due to unnecessary complicated writing style and minus 1 star due to quality of accompanying webpage and explanation of formulas.
