Driver License Scanner with Age Verification (w/Scan-ID Full Version, for Windows)

This scanner worked better than advertised. It allowed me to scan drivers licenses and store the information in the included software as well as move it to my other program. My $1000 plus scanner couldn't do that. As a Luddite it is important for me to have something that is easy to install and use and this little gem fit the bill. I highly recommend it.

We use this to gather ID information at our business. It works fairly well. It's not the most intuitive interface but it does the job. Now 3 months in (just past the return period) it needs calibration and the piece of paper that came with it is not working. I downloaded another from their website and that is not working either. I have opened multiple support tickets and they don't respond. So now I have an expensive paperweight. Really disappointing.

Simple to install driver and easy to use. Scanned images are crystal clear, and the Scan ID software keeps all drivers license information in a convenient database. We use this product for people picking up towed/impounded vehicles and it allows us to keep much better records than the old flatbed scanner/copier, also decreasing the amount of paper floating around the dispatch office. It lessens the chance of forgetting to give the customer their ID back too. Excellent product and excellent price, we recommend it!

Scans well with their program and there is an option to export to excel. I wanted it to read data onto another program but tech said it only would read to their program.

Scans just fine. The scanner was unable to decode the bar code information for SC Driver licenses. After corresponding with customer service, and providing them copies of the licenses that could not be read - their programmers provided an update to the software. It works fine now. Simple, relatively inexpensive, and outputs the relevant ID information into a data file. I then export the file to a CSV and use Excel. Also retains JPG images of the scanned card.

I really like this product. I have now ordered one for each of my offices. Super simple to use and really quick! Scans are clear and easy to locate and print.

Worked for a short period of time then stopped. The full version is supposed to come with a serial number, our came without. After trying to contact the seller we received a fake serial number which does not work. Unable to reach customer service. Purchased 2 both have the me same problem. Don’t waste your money, it’ll work in the beginning but once it stops there’s no fixing it.

We were looking for a cheap alternative to a visitor system for our office which ran anywhere from $1200 to $7000 with a huge monthly fee. This thing works great and comes with the full version of ID scan (which I highly recommend). Once you install the software and plug it in, all you have to do is align it (if comes with an alignment card). And it is ready to scan. Just open up the software and put an ID in the scanner, it automatically feeds it and askes you to flip it over. It automatically imports all of the information on the ID into the database fields and copies both sides of the ID to the database automatically! Great for the money.

Never worked from day one. Waste of money and service from company was less than professional
