    Awesome for converting old VHS and 8MM to DVD!!

This is an awesome product if you need to convert your old videos to DVD.  Using an 8mm/VHS cassette, you are able to record all the videos to a large capacity DVD.  You can also record multiple tapes, record from different times on the tapes, add multiple chapter labels, and even add a label/ title for the DVD before final formatting.  Not related to this purchase, but information needed relating to this product.  If you order and it does not have a remote, you must ensure you have/order the ORIGINAL remote control!!!  I had ordered a remote from a separate company, and a "Suitable Replacement" was sent.  The replacement can control all functions , except the very vital part of formatting and finalizing the DVD.

Product arrived without remote and without users manual.  Product would not rewind VCR tape and would not record to DVD-R.  Total piece of crap!
