Be sure to verify if yours is AC or DC
CDI for 250cc motorcycle; Be certain to determine if your CDI is AC or DC. Also verify the plug type. CDI is automatic timing for the firing of the spark plugs. How your bike is wired will require a specific CDI unit. I am back on the road, and these are so economical that I may as well buy another one or two just to have on hand. Cause when they fail, you don't ride. Easy to swap out. Symptoms? Started being difficult to start, as if the battery was low, then would run a bit rough for a few miles till it warmed up. I thought it was a fuel issue. Then would quit if I let off the throttle, would barely move without 'goosing' the throttle. This was after new plug and fresh fuel.
