Grohe 27575002 Tempesta Cosmopolitan 2.5 GPM 4-Spray Hand Shower, Starlight Chrome

I have had this shower sprayer for 6 years now and it both works perfectly and looks great. I worried about the plastic construction but now having dropped it dozens of times with no damage I think my fear was unfounded. It has just the right spray settings for multiple purposes - from cleaning yourself, to cleaning your dogs and cleaning the shower. And despite it having a water saver screen gasket permanently affixed, the water flow is still fantastic (assuming you have good water pressure coming from the wall). I’m sure there are similar quality handheld shower sprayers for much less money, but at about $50 this is a good value given the Grohe brand. I have changed all my plumbing fixtures to Grohe products over the last 15 years across all the bathrooms and kitchens of my homes and I have not had an issue with any one of them.

We.bought this to replace our old Grohe hand held which was literally dropping plastic parts on the floor. This one is solid and much better made with no parts to come loose. It still looks perfect after almost a year. It never leaks, has great water pressure and we both seem to always choose it over our nearby rain shower.

This product was extremely easy to install, looks amazing, but the rain or more standard shower settings are on the weaker side water pressure wise. Definitely still a great value for the price and quality — we love Grohe!

Very durable and good quality product

I'd give it zero stars if that was an option. Purchased this thinking that Grohe was still a quality product. It does not work well. Very poor water pressure. Only 1 of the 3 settings puts out enough water to rinse shampoo. Very disappointed. I'd never receommend this product to anyone. Choose a different one -

It is not as heavy or substantial as the Hansgrohe that I have replaced. But it is one third the price. They are all metal coated by thin chrome. They are all subject to scratch and peel. The installation is easy. To prevent water leak in the connection, one should put in a washer that is not included.

This shower head flows at 1.8 GPM as measured on our water softener's flowmeter, so I'm inferring it has a 1.8 GPM flow washer installed. I'm going to leave it even though we're not living in a water-critical area. The massage setting is quite pleasant. The concentrated power spray is really effective even at 1.8 GPM. The large spray is gentle but effective, and the aerated setting provides a voluminous rain-like spray that rinses out shampoo quite effectively. A large tab makes selecting the different settings very easy. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this showerhead. It's a bit pricey in comparison with others but I still think I'm going to order another one for the guest bathroom.
