Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.This is what happened. I purchased this a long long time ago. But it just sit there on my kindle library.Then, I came across Dr. Shefali’s new book, The Parenting Map via her online conference. I went through 75 pages and realized, this is some seriously good stuff!I wanted to read “The Conscious Parent “, so I did it. And what a journey it was. Enlightening with Silver Light in some places, affirming with Golden Grace in others.Of course, there will be places where according to your parenting journey depending upon your culture and values, you would disagree with the author.But the crux is absolutely Solid.High time all us parents feel it. It will help beyond measure.

Parenting is a roller coaster ride but similar to fastening seat belts with consciousness we can enjoy this ride. The book is all about a parent their journey from being a kid to parent and the role of conscious upbringing in the life of both parent and kid. A Must Read book I recommend it to those too who are yet to put their foot in the parenting shoes.

I haven't read the book. So no comments on the content. However, I have listened to the author via google talksThe order came one day ahead of schedule. The print and paper is very good. (the price tag is very high though)

Good set of everyday occurences and Example s relating to our life with kids.Very practical in her approach and straight forward in her observation s.She takes away the guilt which we may feel when we faulter and makes it sound natural to become unconscious and come back to consciousness.

I had the privilege to gift this to my mentor and she has never stopped praising the contents of the book. An eye opener to the age old beliefs and conditioned social systemsA must read especially for parents.

Lovely book. I had the chance to read Dr. Shefalis book on The Awakened Family first so had a bit of idea of the journey that her first book will take through. It just keeps me wondering, pondering, questioning on each page. An interesting aspect on parenting, relationships with kids and more importantly self. A must read atleast once in life.

Very well written . Helps you disintegrate a lot of traditional patterns of parenting and offers a new perspective .

EXCELLENT BOOK

I strongly recommend this book. Being conscious that in the most of times you are unconscious is the beginning of the journey of being a better parent. It really worth the investment in the reading.

All parents or parents to be should take the time to read this book. Thru conscious parenting we ourselves raise out level of consciousness.

A must read for every parent. The author lives up to the expectations, if you ever checked any of her videos.
