Ambassador Organics Organic Ground Espresso Coffee, 12-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2)

This coffee is horrible! First it is a terribly uneven roast with some very light roasted beans and others quite burnt. It smelled alright as whole beans, a little less appetizing as I ground it which was the second red flag as all other coffee I have ground smells better as you grind it. I persevered and ground enough coffee for two cups of coffee in the Aeropress. As it pressed it smelled more like bleach than coffee, and then the taste was even worse! YUCK! No crappy gas station, or office coffee sitting around all day in a pot that never gets cleaned, or for that matter toilet water strained through my sons dirty socks could taste worse than this stuff. Stay far away.

I've been buying this decaf espresso since 2011. It is full and flavorful & makes a beautiful cappuccino.

I tried this coffee in the hope it would be a good organic choice. I was very disappointed. When I opened the bag I took a good whiff to get the first aroma. I do this because, to me, the aroma of a coffee is just as important as the flavor and color. It did not smell very good. I made a pot and smelled it as it was brewing. It was not any better. Finally, I make a cup and drank it. Very disappointing and unsatisfying. I like a light roasted coffee, but, it must have the right color, smell, and flavor it be enjoyed.

Great quality coffee. Dark roast and didn't have that typical decaf taste. But I am dissapointed they have tripled their prices over the past month. I paid $6 roughly one month ago, went to reorder and was surprised to see the same 12 oz bag now for $21.

ORGANIC anything is the rage lately. I use this on the "Subscribe & Save" program to blend with less expensive French Roasts.The results are better than average daily grinds. I also gift co-workers once a month with one of the two bags I buy.

delicious and when you drink a lot of coffee like we do, it's good to know it's pesticide and herbicide freeUPDATE!!! BEWARE!!!We just realized that our 6.75 monthly subscription that started in October increased over a period of a few months to 17.05 for the same size pkg of coffee. Hopefully you will be aware of this and not get duped like we were.

I buy all my high end coffee on amazon. I have had great luck for years with organic and decaf whole bean coffee. When this came, it smelled wierd and we brewed and also tried expresso. This stuff is rank. Also, it is worth stating, it is near the exp. date. Amazon sent me more without asking if I wanted a refund, and it is bad too. I am going to ask for my money back. I can not afford to buy expensive organic coffee that is not drinkable. Please consider my review before wasting your money on this stuff

Loved the taste. Very finely ground, though. I suggest using an organic filter. If you use a percolator, pour through a filter first. This wasn't a big enough problem for me to give less than 5 stars because the taste is wonderful.
